How to unlock the Training to Survive achievement in DRAGON BALL: THE BREAKERS - Definitive Guide
You'll need roughly around 40,000 skill points (Flame symbol) to max out at lvl 20 (I did Wall Kick, others could be cheaper not sure)
If you receive all Platinum medals at the end of a match it will grant you 225 skill points. If you get bronze-gold you net anywhere between 80-150 Skill points.
The fastest way to gain skill points is to save up Zeni/ tickets and pull from the Spirit Siphon (machine beside Trunks in lobby) Each duplicate pull will give you 900 Skill points.
You can do one pull with a single ticket or 15K Zeni also you can save up and do 10 pulls at a time with 10 tickets or 150K Zeni.

Another good tip is to play/share with your friend code.

This one seems to be bugged for me. Really don't want to have to do this for another skill. Any advice on how to help me force this to unlock?

This achievement is extremely buggy like many others in the game that require you to do the same requirements several times, I've upgraded a skill to +20 twice without unlocking the achievement, the third time I discovered that when you upgrade a skill at +20 if you don't exit the shop by pressing B and close the game and reopen it your points will be there as if you hadn't spent them because if you don't exit the shop the game won't save. So I did this operation several times, always ulgrading a different skill to the maximum, active or passive but nothing, I also tried doing the cloud, deleting the profile and resetting the factory data from the console but still nothing. The solution was to do it on another console, doing so as soon as I entered the shop and upgraded a skill to +20 it immediately gave me the achievement and also kept all the skill points because I closed the game afterwards. This solution of switching consoles also worked for the achievements of playing 50 games with the survivor and 50 games with the raider both of which had a buggy tracker and switching consoles it works, you don't have to play on the other console after this operation, it's just for the tracker to resume. I hope this solution can help many people like me who have had problems, this game is the most buggy I've ever made.

This trophy is called "Training to Survive" and it requires you to level up any passive or active skill to +20.
To level up skills you need to head to the Hyperbolic Time Gym in your base. Press the Triangle Button to enter the Training Menu and choose Skills. From there you can choose either your Active Skills or your Passive Skills. Select either and you'll be able to press and hold the X Button to power up a skill. Powering up requires Super Warrior Spirits which can be earned for completing a matches and for 100% duplicates from the Spirit Siphon (awards 900 Super Warrior Spirits).
After powering up two skills to +20 to try and see if the amounts varied, this should be the cost for each level for a skill:
+1 - 100
+2 - 200
+3 - 300
+4 - 400
+5 - 500
+6 - 600
+7 - 700
+8 - 800
+9 - 900
+10 - 1000
+11 - 1200
+12 - 1500
+13 - 2000
+14 - 2500
+15 - 3000
+16 - 3600
+17 - 4200
+18 - 4800
+19 - 5400
+20 - 6400
Total of 40100 Super Warrior Spirits.
The best way to earn Super Warrior Spirits is using the Spirit Siphon and getting duplicates. Use the tickets they've been handing out, from playing with friends, and using your Zenni. Each Spirit Siphon which all three fields are duplicates nets you 900 SWS.

If anyone is unsure what skill to use, I did Wall Kick/Jump

Last time I played, all skills were the same costs. So, whichever skill you desire, just focus on it. I believe I used the Change skill when I wrote this out. I liked hiding as a pot a lot.

From playing matches and using the Spirit Siphon, you'll get Warrior Spirit (the fire currency)
In the Time Chamber, use Spirit to upgrade skills. Once one hits the max of Level 20, this achievement will pop
NOTE: Some skills only have one level of upgrade where you then master it. These do not count.
