How to unlock the I Summon You Forth: Shenron! achievement in DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 2 - Definitive Guide

Items between characters are shared.

After beating Radditz in the first story mission, head over to the academy and fight Sanud. She is a lvl 1 character, and will give you a dragon ball.

You can now make more characters and repeat the process. You will get a different ball every time, and again, the inventory is shared.

Using the default Saiyan male, skipping all cutscenes and dialog, you can get the balls in less then 8 minutes each. Just under an hour for all 7.

In order to unlock this you need to collect all 7 dragon balls. When being introduced to Time Patroller challenged you automatically unlock the 4 star ball. After that you need 6 more. The easiest way it appears to unlock it is by doing PQ #4. After the initial fight against Tien, Krillin and Yamcha 3 patrollers appear if you challenge them you have a chance to get a "Key Item" if you don't get one click start and retry if you do finish the mission rinse and repeat.

Try doing 2 down through and see if that unlocks it.

You can actually get more than one Dragon Ball at a time. I recently got 2 in PQ 4

Here is a video showing the Parallel Quest 4 method. You can use this to farm cash as well, collect the material items which turn out to be Hercule Badges!

Gathering the Dragon Balls in Xenoverse 2 can be done in one of two ways. The most common method of doing so, and the method you will use most often...certain Parallel Quests will have Time Patrollers show up in them. You need to talk to these patrollers then proceed to defeat them. Once you get the killing blow, you will receive "Equips" or "Material Items", but what you want to look out for is "Key Item"...if it says you got a Key Item, this means it gave you a Dragon Ball. From there you need to proceed to finish the rest of the PQ and it'll be added to your collection.
Alternatively...as you advance in the story mode, you'll start seeing Blue (!) icons pop up around the Map...while most of these are PQ's, some of them happen to be random battles with your fellow Time Patrollers, some of which will award you a Dragon Ball upon completion.
QUICK TIP: If you're having a hard time finding PQ's that house Time Patrollers, then the easiest one to focus on would be PQ04. This is only a 1 Star PQ. At the start of the mission, you need to defeat Krillin, Yamcha and Tien then a Portal to the next area will open up. Instead of going through the portal, look down in front of Kami's Lookout, 3 time Patrollers will have showed up (NOTE: Press :dpadleft: to check their levels, sometimes you can get level 80+ Time Patrollers even if you're not anywhere near that level yet), fight them and remember to look for "Key Item", if you get this you can continue on and finish the PQ...if not, then just restart the mission until you get the Key Item to pop (it shouldn't take more than 3 or 4 tries). Also note, you CAN get as many as 3 Dragon Balls in a single PQ like this, it's very rare but it can happen by each Time Patroller dropping a Key Item.
