How to unlock the Full Ultimate Power! achievement in DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE - Definitive Guide

ok, since the other guide is just full of inaccuracies, I've created this new one to iron out all problems and provide proper instructions on what is required (Especially since I just finished this achievement).

Below is a full list of what counts towards this achievement. Anything not on the list does not count towards 100% on the cheevo.

Be forewarned, this will involve a LOT of grinding and luck, some may drop first time you play, some make take 50 times. I got all these after 100 hours of grinding (no joke, check my completion time). So just be ready to settle in for the long haul.

Ok, first things first, you will need to buy ALL attacks available from the skill shop, I've not listed them here as you'll easily get so many Zeni by the end of the campaign that you can buy all your ultimates, supers and any random evades and transformations available with out running out of money, so no point going over that again.

Secondly, you WILL need to gather the Dragonballs TWICE to gain 6 supers not available in PQ farming, as listed below:

(I think these are the names, had to copy them from elsewhere as I don't remember what I actually got when they popped).

Wish 1: Flash Bomber, Drain Field, Lightning Ruin
Wish 2: Lightning Dragon Bullets, God Speed Light Bullets, Whirlwind Spin

There are only two super wishes you can make to Shenron, so you'll know you've got all your supers if you make a wish and the option for more does not come up.

Below indicates requirements to allow for RNJesus to consider answering your prayers for a drop, they may not drop every time but these are confirmed requirements to get a chance to receive the skill. UF indicates Ultimate Finish conditions are required for this drop.

I used this guide for assistance in determining ultimate finish requirements per PQ: http://www.idigitaltimes.com/dragon-ball-xenoverse-parallel-...

Now, you might say, "Count ol' boy, I've done this a million times and I've not got that skill yet, what game are you playing at you lout?" to which I'll reply, "Keep trying, and who the hell are you calling a lout?"

I'm dead serious, there is a lot of grinding involved. I'm not lying about these requirements, they work. If you haven't go tit after 100 tries, try 101 times, cause that's all there is to it, pure RNG. There is nothing I can do to make it faster or easier for you, you just have to keep trying.

Good luck, if I've forgotten or missed anything, let me know.

EDIT: as usual someone has to vote negative on a good solution with no indication why.

No we just found out from a Web Dev ironically that something hasen't been copied, if you look at the web services for Live right now everything is FUBAR and there's warnings and stuff everywhere.

They know they fucked up, I woulden't be surprised to see a console update suddenly in the next couple days.

DBZ WAS buggy for me before all this mess, I had to just keep logging into it and do the whole "Go to Game Hub, go to acheivements" to get a few to pop or would get super late and sudden pops like home screen days later being idle.

I was pretty certain it was all fixed, could still be a slight issue (the 100% one was my issue, tried redoing PQ's and stuff and it popped later on HOME) but im thinking its more the console update issue.

The other issue with this is that other than Bridge Constructor ATM, seems all the other games we're getting Buggy or Discontinued etc flag submissions and info for its intermittent, some pop late, others done and are stuck at 100% etc, but to boot, I could play all of let's say DBZ (let's assume it isn't buggy usually and all achievmeents pop exactly when they should) I could get all my achievements with no issues or delay, but you could get all of them stuck permanently so far.

So keep up to tabs with xbox's services page, and wait and see if they push through another console update or something. If they do and you're still having problems, toss me a message or leave one here (I get updates) and ill do some digging, but if not it should retroactively pop no problem.

No problem. I know it's a solution for the super attacks, but you didn't list Teleporting Vanishing Ball for PQ 48. Just wanted to mention that you get it from Kid Buu drops it in the UF for those who may be wondering. Thanks for the guide btw. Doing it again on 360 and this has been extremely helpful.

Another update: Genocide Shell doesn't require UF, I don't think Shining Friday does either. Big Bang Kamehameha definitely does, though.

Didn't get blaster shell until UF Broly. Not sure if you can get it from both or not.

I know i got blaster shell non UF, so that'll stay. Not sure on the others. As i said a tthe start, i did this when I did my personal playthrough and noted down the situations. So it sounds like you're getting a few that i got with UF. While at the same time i'm getting some that you didn't non-UF.

thanks mate for that. Basically we really only need to know if any of the ones I've flagged as UF come as non UF. Doesn't matter the other way around. I'm trying to build the list of "minimum requirements" to unlock :) Congrats though, I remember that one being a pain.

Guide is missing Holstein Shock from PQ 10. Captain Ginyu will drop it after UF. I thought my achievement was glitched because I thought that was an evasive move lol

Alright after getting the completion twice in this game, I noticed that Afterimage from PQ 1 isn't on the list. I noticed this because I bought all the moves and got all the wish moves and then all the PQ drops except for this and I noticed that this move isn't anywhere on the list. So I grinded the drop and my final achievements popped. So you may want to update the list unless I'm an idiot and somehow missed it in the store. :D

Anyone else try getting the Old Kai to say they were lucky, then do the PQs to get guaranteed drops? I saw that mentioned (on sayainisland iirc) and I have a really hard time getting him to say Ill have luck.

CTM AudiRS6, I did that but he does not always say it also after a while of fightinhg with the old kai as your tutor he will ask you to be level 93 and come back when you are.

RNG has this and the other achievement by the balls, either way your looking at a huge grind, i had to play tag with gotenks over 100 times for my game completion. laugh

I have the parallel quest achievement, the super collector achievement, and the ultimate collector achievements all stuck at 100%. I have tried just about everything and this is extremely frustrating. If anyone knows of a fix for this it would be appreciated, but I am guessing the dlc messes with the achievement trigger conditions for the attack collection achievements.

Its xbox live, im on the game info team and we're getting incessant amounts of buggy submissions and whatever else, Bridge Constructor Stunts all achievements lock up at 100%, you're either gonna get a delayed pop or have to wait for the next console update or if the devs update it. But the most recent update broke so many games it's not even fun.

By on 04 Jan 2018 08:48
I see, thanks for the info. The parallel quest one has been at 100% for a few weeks for me now. I just checked the xbox site and all 4 of my remaining achievements are at 100%, including the completion achievement which is at 93% on my console tracker. It seems unlikely the devs will update this one considering the sequel is already out. I guess I will play the waiting game and check up on it every so often then.

Just updated my console and logged into Xenoverse again and none of the achievements popped. I guess it is still not resolved seeing as how no one has won any of the achievements I am missing aside from the 100% achievement since the 9th of December. The aforementioned 100% completion achievement was won on the 27th, but it seems like that was a delayed pop. Anyway, any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Alright ill bring it up to the team.

That being said, in Xenoverse 2's comments I was posting my same outline of "achievements are currently broken" etc as some people were having troubles on that too.

I had an achievement lock up for 4 1/2 days on Cartoon Network BattleCrashers, and when it finally popped, it had the correct date and order of achievements (Meaning when I saw it pop it look like it popped when I was supposed to get it)

We're under the assumption that its a communication error with xbox's achievement system, some of the team are hitting snags too, so hopefully itll still resolve even though its been like a week and a half for you now? That's horrid.

Im gonna bring it up to the team, and if anything comes up ill let you know.

Apparently someone already answered me XD

December 9th was the original break in achievements. Which seems to correlate with what you said.

Again, this one is a bit weird. NO UNLOCKS since that date is stepping outside of the usual delays we're seeing. Could still be a long delay, I know my 100% on this game was a long delay without the issues. So might be waiting on a fix if its really broken.

Ill keep you in the loop like I said, but it looks like this is both the same and a different problem.

The parallel quest one has been at 100% for 3-4 weeks now, while the attack collection achievements have been at 100% about a week and a half now. Though the parallel quest achievement is already marked as buggy here on the site and this update isn't making it any less buggy. Anyway, thanks for looking into it, I'll let you know if they randomly pop. I have been trying to sign in every few days to see if any decide to unlock, but I haven't had any luck with that so far.

Trove is another game, all the base game achievements are screwed up since December 11th, apprently current xbox insiders have had all their achievements fixed in the preview program, so here's hoping February 1st you guys start getting unlocks.

Longest achievement i've had so far was 8 days blank and randomly got the notification while I was at work on my phone that it popped.

Aye, TA Staff love to help! And like I said its been a month and a half of buggy reports across all games and most of them have the same cut off date.

Microsoft just dun bunged up, but these games also have had buggy unlocks before hand that had quick fixes or just delayed pops so its that teetering edge of is it part of this problem, part of the old problem, or a bit of both. So just routing for you guys and also keeping updated incase post fix its still messed up and the team have to flag it accordingly :)

Yeah, I just checked my xbox profile on the site and it said I unlocked the 3 I was missing on the dates they should have unlocked. I guess I just need to login one last time to see if the 100% completion achievement unlocks as it should. Anyway, thanks for all you help in this matter, your information was very much appreciated and prevented me from needlessly getting frustrated at this game.

Ps I WILL not give a thumbs down because of that. To me you put a lot of effort into this guide so great job on that part.

PQ quest 30 (Justice Pose and Justice Rush) doesn’t require UF. Just got Justice Rush after getting the normal finish with both alive. If you’re struggling with keeping your allies alive I would recommend grinding for the Taunt skill and spamming that so the AI for us you instead.

Alright noob question, its been a long time since ive grinded this and im just returning now.

If you have to kill someone for a move (but the kill doesen't finish the mission but I should get a popup that states Skill Gotten), and you do not get said skill. Can you hit "Retry" and farm it again? Or must you quit/finish the mission to get it to reset the drop rate?

Im stuck on PQ41
Explosive Buu Buu Punch- defeat Majin buu
Quick Sleep- defeat Kid Buu

And ive ran this upwards of 40 times without either dropping. Im pretty tempted to buy the Resurrection of F dlc just to get Great Kai and his amazing guaranteed skill drop move at this point...

I got all of the skills, shows as 100% completed in my progress bar but the achievement hasn't popped either, last one I need for 100% completion. Assuming it will pop by itself at some point...

Edit: I went to my achievements on the xbox hub and it popped as I clicked DBZ. However, the 0GS achievement for 100% hasn't popped now...

No problem.

Like I said there are a few games since patch that have been messed up one way or the other (IE Bridge Construtor and Bridge Constructor Stunts) that are still gonna need updates from the Devs. And DBZX series is known to have some slightly buggy and delayed unlocks, but that being said, as much as I can't speak with 100% accuracy, I got the feeling that they'll just pop in time and you won't lose any progress.

The only achievement that you gotta pay attention to in the series is the new DLC one in Xenoverse 2 for getting Z Ranks, that one is iffy and buggy as all hell and you gotta get all Z's your first go. Beyond that you should be fine.

Super Attack skills are obtained from four sources.

1. Starting skill sets.
Upon creating your character, you can instantly obtain different Super Attack skills depending on your choice of skill sets (melee-biased, ki-biased, or balanced).

2. Parallel Quests.
By chance, a skill can be dropped during a Parallel Quest or upon defeating a specific enemy in a Parallel Quest (including WARNING events).
Remember that you must clear the Parallel Quests to earn these drops.
When looking in the Parallel Quests menu, you can check the details of each Parallel Quest for which skill you have or have not obtained.

3. Masters.
Each master rewards you with Super Attack skills when you complete their first (few) training exercises.

4. Wishes from the Dragon.
After getting the seven Dragon Balls and calling upon Shenron at the pedestal in Toki Toki City, you can wish for three Super Attack skills each.
You can make up to two wishes for a total of six Super Attack skills.

Note: Any add-on content, either downloadable or as a pre-order bonus, is not needed to earn this achievement.

This trophy along with "Full Super Power!" are both the most time consuming trophies for this game. They require you to have all the Ultimate and Super Attacks in the game excluding DLC skills. These attacks are gathered in the following ways:

  • The Skill Shop
  • Training with Mentors/Masters
  • Wishes made from Shenron
  • Parallel Quests

The Skill Shop is optional because all the skills found listed in it can be gathered from the Parallel Quests missions. I do recommend you buy the skills out of the Skill Shop because you'll have the money to do so and there's not much else for you to spend your money on. Training with Mentors/Masters is something you have to do for Mentor/Master related trophies so all that information can be found in Rainbows Form In Your Eyes' trophy description. You will need a total of 4 wishes from Shenron to acquire all Super and Ultimate attacks. However, you will need three more wishes in order to unlock the other required items for platinum, so don't forget that. More information on getting wishes and gathering the 7 Dragon Balls can be found in the The Best Miracle Of The World trophy description.

The Parallel Quests are mainly where the majority of the entire Super and Ultimate Attacks are found. You'll be farming them for hours trying to gathering them all and it's completely random. There's nothing in the game that increases your drop rating chances at all. Plus, there are no patches that were released that increased the drop ratings. You'll just have to keep trying and hoping/praying that you get the skills you're looking for out of the PQs you're farming. Also, I want to make clear that an Ultimate Finish isn't required to get these Supers and Ultimate Attacks from the PQ missions. It's all random and not necessary required. You can still get skills even with a D ranking, but there are a few PQ missions where you do need to complete the Ultimate Finish in order to get the Skills. That is only because those missions have DBZ characters that only appear when you meet the Hidden Conditions of that PQ mission. These Hidden Conditions did increase in chances of happening due to developers listening to feedback. As mentioned in the above roadmap, be sure you're playing with the latest patches installed.

Below are some things you can do that help you gather PQ skills, but remember it's still completely random and not guaranteed:

  • Search for the character that has the skill you're looking for during the Character Select screen. You can look at characters loadout skills by pressing the button and hovering over them.
  • Select the characters that have the skills you're looking for as your Allies for the PQ mission. You can also select the same character twice.
  • Defeat the characters who has the skills you're looking for. If it doesn't drop when you defeat them, you can press or and select "Retry" to attempt to get the skill again.
  • Try to get an Ultimate Finish as it does sometimes feel like it increases your odds of getting them to drop. Sometimes an Ultimate Finish is required for a skills requirement or for that skill's character to appear.
  • Try farming a few PQ missions with randoms or a friend online. Sometimes doing these PQs with real people will end up in you obtaining skill(s). Plus, other players can beat an enemy for you and a skill might drop from the opponent they defeat.

Last of all, there are skills called Evasive. Lots of people been wondering if these counted towards the platinum trophy's unlocking. I can personally inform you all that Evasive skills are not required for the trophies. My last skills needed for gathering all Super attacks were both Blaster Meteor and Riot Javelin. These drop from PQ No.55 and I ended up getting Bardock's Riot Javelin only. The trophy unlocked for me as I now had all the Super attacks gathered and Broly's Blaster Meteor skill was an Evasive skill indicating it wasn't required at all.

Here is a Supplements that showcases all the Win Hidden Conditions and Skills for each Parallel Quest mission (Credit to Khonziel for this): LINK

There are over 130 unique Super Attacks, and 45 Ultimate Attacks. You can find what Super/Ultimate Attacks you have by going to the  menu, selecting the bag, then skills list and move the selection to Super/Ultimate Attack.

Super and Ultimate attacks are unlocked by finding them in Parallel Quests, and completing Master quests to unlock character-specific attacks, such as Vegeta's Galick Gun, and Piccolo's Special Beam Cannon. You WILL need to gather the Dragonballs 4 times to gain 6 supers and 2 ultimates not available in PQ farming.

Below indicates requirements to try and get each skill, please note they may not drop every time but these are confirmed requirements to get a chance to receive the skill. UF indicates Ultimate Finish conditions are required for this drop.

For a very good list check out the post here.
