How to unlock the Full Super Power! achievement in DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE - Definitive Guide

Ok, so as most people know by now this just requires a lot of farming. I am still working on it myself. But I have noticed there is not a single text list of all Ultimates onlines so with the help of a few other users I at least compiled a text list of all the Ultimate Moves in the order they appear in your Skill List.

Make sure to check the Skill Shop regularly as well since many useful skills such as Super Saiyan, Super Saiyan 2, Unrelenting Barrage and a couple other Ultimates will eventually appear there. Buying these can cut down on farming time immensely.

Note: All Ultimate moves are obtained through farming PQ's except for the 12 you get from masters, Shocking Death Ball and Minus Energy Power Ball which you will get from Shenron wishes in that order and Victory Rush which you can buy from the skill shop.

(Most Ultimates require an Ultimate Finish to obtain e.g. unlocking the extra fight at the end, not beating the enemies with Ultimate attacks. Also many Ultimates will not pop the "You Obtained a Skill" message during the fight so you will need to finish the whole fight before you know if you got it or not. Super Vegeta and Deathball are a couple like this)

(If anyone remembers exactly when Victory Rush appeared in Skill shop or how much it was, please leave a comment and I will add the info. Thank you.)

Strike Ultimate:
Unrelenting Barrage - PQ3 - Ultimate Finish Required
Paralysis - PQ11

Actually, there are a few things you are incorrect about. First of all, I am pretty sure everyone knows you can check an enemies skill set with left D-pad but an easier way is to simply check the skills of the enemies you are fighting in character select to see who uses the skill you are going for. Second of all, not all Ultimates are a reward for getting Ultimate finish, only certain ones require Ultimate Finish, I have actually noted them on the list. Third "You Got Skill" does actually pop up for some Ultimate Skills, Break Cannon and Saiyan spirit being two I can think of off the top of my head. Last of all, there are some skills that no enemy you are fighting will have. Assault Rain is Super Buu's move and you get it in a mission where you protect Super Buu so there is literally no way to know until after you beat the mission. Hope this helps.

Count023, as long as you are doing whatever the requirement is to activate the Ultimate finish, from there it is entirely luck based that the Ultimate Finish actually trigger and that the skill drops for you.

Some people will say using only super, or ultimates helps, or using none at all, but that is all just superstition. Just keep praying to RNJesus and hopefully he will be kind.

There were a couple that literally took me between 50-100 tries. Super Electric Strike, Super Vegeta, and Gigantic Meteor to name a few took many, many tries. Different missions Ultimate Finish have different chances of proccing as well. Some Ultimate Finishes will proc almost every time where as PQ25, you are lucky to have the Ultimate Finish proc 1 out of every 10 tries. Same for Ultimate finish required to get Brolly's Gigantic Meteor.

Just keep at it though, you will get it eventually and it will feel all the sweeter.

Is the DLC necessary to obtain additional ultimate skills or can everything be gotten without em?

I got it before the DLC came out, but I doubt the DLC moves are needed. That would be really lame, especially since I am still working on Supers. Oh well, I'll find out when I get the last of my Supers, lol.

Thank you. Yes, the Super list should take a bit longer, I was thinking about putting up what I have so far and maybe the community can help fill in some of the blanks. Hopefully I will have it up by tonight.

I know for the one I'm currently after "Spirit Sword", you have to beat Super Vegito (Ultimate Victory). So yes it's required for some. I go for them just to be safe/have more enemies to get drops off of :P

By Jay Insomniak on 12 Mar 2015 21:03
Yea, for many of them you will have to get the Ultimate finish, literally making getting a lot of these RNG on top of RNG. I will try to add in notes on which ones require an Ultimate finish, at least for the ones I remember.

Yes, if you go to your page of Masters in your player data and scroll down you will see there are two more that have a Golden color to them. These two new masters will come with DLC pack 1 and will be Tien and Yamcha. I am assuming since you can't get Neo Tri Beam or Yamcha's Spirit Ball yet that those are the Ultimate moves they will each teach you.

Looking at the Z Souls, there is one that sates a great increase to ultimate skill "Destruction Bomb". Don't see that on the list. Its Super Saiyan Trunks' Z-Soul "Vanish forever!".

That is actually a translation error, that skill is actually called Sphere of Destruction.

Yea, they really did not try to make it easy. Currently I am going for Super moves and the problem I am having now is a lot of the moves I spend 30 minutes farming for end up being Evasive moves cause there is no indicator of the move type in the loot table. So I am having to look through every character to make sure the move isn't someones evasive move. I think I am going to take a break and play some Type 0 though, farming for Supers has been pretty awful, there is just so many of them D:

For some of these it's worth noting that a specific character drops them. For example, you can rush Super Vegito after the Ultimate Finish triggers and if he doesn't drop it you can simply retry. I ended up getting 100x Big Bang Kamehameha from Gotenks. I'm not sure if that's consistent, as some people claim to get it from Vegito.

I got it Gotenks personally.

Anyone got something they did a certain way for Saiyan Spirit or Assault Rain? Those are my last 2 from PQs and I have done those quests so many times.

Saiyan Spirit you will get after you defeat Bardock should show the "You Got Skill" message upon defeating him. Assault Rain is a bit more tricky, it was a huge pain in the ass, one of the my last also. Just keep Super Buu alive and get the Ultimate Finish, no one in particular drops it so you won't know if you got it until you finish it, just keep at it.

By Wessmonster on 26 Mar 2015 05:40
Yea, Assault Rain was one of the only ones I got Online also, it was indeed much easier with real players. The last two Ultimate's I got were Assault Rain and Teleporting Vanishing Ball. Any PQ with a "Keep a character alive/ above 50% health" are definitely easier online for the reasons Zach mentioned.

Way to go on the 100x Big Bang Kamehameha. Still farming Supers myself, I hate to say it, but I think these are actually a bigger pain in the ass than the Ultimate's. I am missing skills from all the most annoying PQ's and all the REALLY annoying ones I need to activate an Ultimate Finish and some of them have pathetically low chances of proccing. I don't remember the last time I put this kind of effort into an achievement.

By ChaosxTheorem on 28 Mar 2015 09:55
Nope, if you go to your Bag and look at all your skills you will noticed they are split up by Super Skills, Ultimate Skills and Evasive Skills. For this achievement you only need all skills listed under "Ultimate Skills".

By ChaosxTheorem on 28 Mar 2015 18:47
Ouch, that is painful. Just stick with it, I think my PQ count is over 500 lol and I am still not done getting all the Supers. Some of the Supers are even bigger pain in the asses than the Ultimates.

By Wessmonster on 28 Mar 2015 22:21
I've done all the supers, just this and I'll be at 100%

I find the super easier as they aren't locked behind the ultimate finish and it's random ways as often. Plus if the person who has the move doesn't drop anything you can just restart and dont have to go through all the setup stuff again

So working my way through this, only got 8 left. Is praying to RNJesus the only way to influence the ultimate finish modes? Or are there tricks now to get the ultimate finish to occur more frequently (thinking things like PQ16's vegeta going SS and whatnot).

By count023 on 18 Sep 2015 00:22
Yea, I got lucky myself on a few of them. Got Super Vegeta my first try, but Super Vegeta 2 took me over 50 tries. I got lucky like that on a few, but more often than not it took some farming. Honestly, farming with other people made the time seem to go by a lot faster. All in all, this game alone has given me my fill of RNG for the year, lol. Between the moves and farming certain outfits. I spent 10 hours just farming Brolly's clothes and Supreme Kai's outfit, sucks when you get boots or gloves over and over again.

I have the parallel quest achievement, the super collector achievement, and the ultimate collector achievements all stuck at 100%. I have tried just about everything and this is extremely frustrating. If anyone knows of a fix for this it would be appreciated, but I am guessing the dlc messes with the achievement trigger conditions for the attack collection achievements.

Completed this. What helped me the most was getting the elder kai as your master(Buy dlc). He sometimes gives you a prediction of how lucky you will be in the next PQ. I only did PQ when he said I am going to be lucky. This saved me a lot of time. There are some youtube videos that describe what you have to do.

If you want, you can add this list of Evasive Actions to your solution so that way when players are grinding Parallel Quests for items, they will know to skip these Evasive Actions as they don't count towards the Ultimate or Super achievements. This may prove useless since your solution competently focuses on what is exclusively required, but I felt it would be useful in terms of having everything accounted for.

Evasive Actions List:

Melee Attacks
Spirit Explosion
Turn Retreat
High Tension Turn
Spirit Slash
Spinning Blade
Psychic Move
Energy Barrier
Buu Buu Ball
Angry Shout
Headshot

Ki-Waves
Super Explosive Wave
Spread Shot Retreat
Break Strike
Explosive Wave
Energy Field
Rolling Bullet
Dimension Cannon
Victory Cannon
Force Shield
Blaster Meteor

Stances/Poses
Mach Dash
Final Pose

Other
Psycho Escape
Miracle Kneel
Instant Rise
Super Back Jump
Super Front Jump
Candy Beam
Vanisher Guard

Since the other guide is lackluster in details I'll tell what has to be done.

first step: max out every mentor in the base game since each one has an ultimate attack to earn.

second step: grind out the Parallel Quests and this is the most tedious step due to each Parallel Quest being ruled by a little thing called the Random numbers generator so there's a chance that you'll get nothing for playing through a single time.

final step: collect the dragon balls two times and use the wish "I want a new Ultimate!" twice.

the Shenron wish Ultimates are:

1st wish: Shocking Death Ball

2nd wish: Minus Energy Ball.

after doing all that you should have the trophy pop.

and lastly you don't need to do the steps as I mentioned them you can do them in any order and at your own pace.

Ultimate Attack skills are obtained from four sources.

1. Creating your character.
Each character you create is given one Ultimate Attack skill by default: Full Power Energy Blast Volley.

2. Parallel Quests.
By chance, a skill can be dropped during a Parallel Quest or upon defeating a specific enemy in a Parallel Quest (including WARNING events).
Remember that you must clear the Parallel Quest to earn these drops.
When looking in the Parallel Quests menu, you can check the details of each Parallel Quest for which skill you have or have not obtained.

3. Masters.
Each master rewards you with an Ultimate Skill after you complete their final training exercise.

4. Wishes from the Dragon.
After getting the seven Dragon Balls and calling upon Shenron at the pedestal in Toki Toki City, you can wish for one Ultimate Attack.
There are two Ultimate Attack skills in total that can be obtained from this.

Note: Add-on content, either downloadable or as a pre-order bonus, is not needed to earn this achievement.

In quest 22, to obtain abilities from Frieza and Cell, an ultimate finish is required. That is, you kill absolutely all enemies and only after that there is a chance to knock out these abilities

Basic super attacks and perfect attacks are farmed from quests; when selecting a quest, you need to press the right arrow and a list of things and skills that can be obtained in this quest will be shown. Some drop out only after the ultimate finish and then very rarely.
Before you start farming skills, be sure to buy all available skills in the store!
You will receive the rest upon completion of the master training.
And the latter must be asked from Shanlon:
2 times Super attacks and 2 times perfect attacks.
