How to unlock the Budokai 3 Adept Champion achievement in Dragon Ball Z Budokai HD Collection - Definitive Guide

On the Main Menu click on the World Tournament. Then chose the Adept tournament which has 4 rounds. Simply win all 4 rounds, if you are fairly competent with this game then you should fly through to the final. Use characters you know well (I prefer Frieza or Kid Buu) and stay away from the edges. I usually find that if you try to ring out your opponent too much then they use instant transmission and ring you out, so go for a K.O victory.

Beat World Tournament on Adept difficulty.

You'll need to have 16 or more characters unlocked and have beaten Novice World Tournament. Then purchase Adept for 6,000 Zenie from the Skill Shop located in Skill Editing.

You'll need atleast 16 characters that are playable for this to appear in the shop. The Adept Tournament has 4 rounds and can be purchased from the shop after completing the Novice tournament.

To unlock the mode, you need to go through the world tournament as a beginner, unlock 16 characters, and then buy it in the capsule shop.
