How to unlock the Budokai 3 Gohan achievement in Dragon Ball Z Budokai HD Collection - Definitive Guide

This is a basic run-down of Gohan's Dragon Universe

(To unlock Gohan, finish the Teen Gohan Dragon Universe boss fight against Cell)

Earth (Buu Saga)

1) Kame House - Cutscene between Gohan, Krillin and Android #18
2) Goku's House - Cutscene with Chi-Chi. You will gain Super Saiyan 2.
3) Grandpa Gohan's House - Fight with Goten. You will unlock Goten.
4) Plains near Goku's House - Cutscene with Videl
5) Plains (C3R1) - Cutscene with Oolong
6) Plains (C3R4) - Cutscene with Yajirobe, Videl and Goten. You will unlock Videl.
7) Hercule City - Gain a capsule for Videl
8) Plains (C1R2) - Fight with Videl
9) Mountains (C3R3) - Cutscene with Videl. You will gain the Videl's Kiss capsule
10) Desert (C1R3) - Cutscene with Supreme Kai. You will gain the Soaring Dragon Strike capsule
11) Babidi's Spaceship - Fight with Dabura. You will unlock Dabura
12) Forest (C1R2) - Cutscene with Goku. You will gain the Super Kamehameha capsule
13) Forest (C1R2) - You will fight Majin Buu followed by another cutscene. You will gain the Elder Kai Unlock Ability capsule
14) Red Marker - You will now fight the Gohan boss fight! Super Buu!!!! Once you complete this you will unlock The Great Saiyaman and the achievement!

You unlock Gohan by finishing DU with Teen Gohan. This shouldn't take you too long, but after finishing it once, you need to start a second runthrough to get a character for the completion. Near the beginning, search the area near Goku's house for a scene with Videl. Then go to the southern islands for a scene with Yajirobe and Videl to unlock Videl.

After the fight with Goten, fly to Kami's Lookout (on the western continent). You will fight Piccolo. Beat him,then head towards the mountains in the northeast, and you will trigger a scene with Vegeta. The location can be seen below.

Afterwards, beat Dabura and head towards the new dot on your radarand you will fight Majin Vegeta. After the fight, head towards the middle of the main continent and look for a scene in the plains where you will find and unlock Supreme Kai.

Once you have Supreme Kai, you can quit this playthrough.

Gohan is unlocked after completing Dragon Universe as Teen Gohan.

Then play Gohan's campaign (Chapter One: The Majin Buu Saga).
