Unlocking Ubb is not to hard.. You simply just play through Goku's dragon universe... Save before the final battle which is against kid buu (encase it goes wrong.. I recommend you save) you will have one chance to do this ... Unless you save in which u can switch your console off after the battle and redo it.. But after completing goku's dragon universe you will not encounter kid buu again as goku's dragon universe story changes on a second play through...
Basically when fighting kid buu make sure you have kaiokan, super Saiyan, super Saiyan 2 and spirit bomb in your skill tray.. When in a fight with buu you must fill you ki bars to full.. Then enter rage mode press all 4 buttons or the rb to do this... Be careful though because sometimes the buttons and triggers make you transform into your super Saiyan form... You do not want to do this as it will not work .. Instead of performing a spirit bomb you will do a super dragon fist finisher.. Even if u don't have it in your skill tray.. So basically enter rage mode by doing as said above then go close to your enemy and press the four buttons in again to use your spirit bomb REMEMBER you want to be in rage only.. If you are successful you will do a spirit bomb and you will turn into a super Saiyan during your finisher... In order to unlock Ubb you must get the attack to hit.. It will not count if buu blocks it.. In order to be successful in the attack you need to push the a button in time.. You a bar at the bottom that fill up when it's near the end press a and it should fill up.. When you get it fuller than the enemies you win..

You will know of your successful as after the battle goku's dragon universe does not simply end it continues follow the next part of the story and you will have to fight Ubb in the world tournament arena (this happens in goku's dragon universe after you beat buu) beat him and you will unlock him.. Don't worry he's not that tough!! If your decent you will find it easy :) good luck .. If there are bits of the guide you don't understand just ask and I will try and explain it a little clearer :)

I can confirm that you can do this on your second playthrough onwards. All you must do is avoid all ??? points to do with Broly. Instead go straight to Vegeta with the potara earring and fight Super Buu. Once this is done, the usual storyline progression will occur and you will fight Kid Buu on Supreme Kai's planet.

Also once u have unlocked Ubb simply start dragon universe with him he has 3 fights that's it.. You can finish it in 10 minutes :)

So once you finished the story you have to reset and redo it? Cause I missed this on my first run :(

I cant win the spirit bomb challenge. Defense always wins. Im pressing a when the bar fills and I get nothing

This trophy is story related and cannot be missed.

Finish Uub's story mode once.

To unlock Uub, you need to finish Goku's DU. When in the final battle with Kid Buu, hit him with a successful Spirit Bomb attack to unlock Uub. To do this, when you are in your standard form, hit to go into hyper mode, then hit again when you are next to him to start this attack. To make it successful, you need to win the minigame, in which you have to hit when the bar is closer to the top. If you beat Kid Buu in this minigame, the attack will be successful and you will unlock Uub at the end. Uub's DU story is reallyb short. You will only have three battles, and should take you less than ten minutes.

To open Uub, you need to defeat Small Buu in Dragon Universe as Goku using Spirit Bomb (you must win the mini-game). Next you will have a battle at the tournament with Uub.

Then go through the campaign for Uub.
