This is essentially for completing the tutorial and should take around 15-20 minutes. Details in the spoiler if you need it.

Start a new game and design your character. You'll then be able to access the settings - default is generally fine but have a look if you want. Confirm when you're ready to proceed.

As you might expect, you'll start off with some cutscenes. You can press

to speed things up.

Once you are finally in control, move forward a little and press

to open the cell door. Keep moving forwards, up the stairs to the skeleton marked with an exclamation symbol. Press

to talk once you walk close enough to it. Follow the instructions and press

to eat the item you're given - it should be highlighted but you use

and

to navigate the inventory bar at the bottom of the screen. Talk to the skeleton a couple more times - the first will complete the task (marked with a blue exclamation symbol) and the second starts the next.

Turn around and on the deck you will see markers on the five monsters in the central area. Approach and talk to each in turn. Return to the skeleton again.

Your next objective sees you smashing some innocent pieces of driftwood - there are five piles on the deck, each giving up two pieces of wood. Press

to hit and break them. Back to skeleton again.

Speak to the marked character and you'll be introduced to a Workbench. Approach it and press

to start building! The only item available is the torch you require. While some items are build one at a time, torches are built in sets of 5, indicated by x5 on the image on the left. Go ahead and build 5 by pressing

a couple to times. Press

to leave the workbench.

Around the deck are 5 marked black blocks - 4 near the centre and one beside the workbench. Press

to select the torches. A yellow outline will indicate where you are going to place the item. Move so the outline is above each of the black blocks and press

to put down a torch. If you put it in the wrong place, you can bash it by pressing

until it breaks and collect it.

Return to the marked character to finish the objective. Head up the steps behind this guy - take either one towards the edge of the ship to reach the top deck where another skeleton has a task. This simple combat can be completed by approaching the enemy and mashing

. Talk to the Skeleton again and go back to the Workbench. Select the new item with

and build it. Exit the bench, select your new weapon in the inventory on the screen and equip it with

.

Return to the skeleton on the top deck and repeat the battle. Finish the task by talking to the skeleton again.

Go back to the lower deck and talk to the third marked guy. You'll receive your first tool - the Gloves. Move the 6 barrels from around the deck to the space beside the green guy. Pressing

when close to them will pick them up - you need to basically walk into them. A yellow outline will appear just like before.

Once all 6 are in the right place, finish the task. Now you can return to the first skeleton you talked to.

After some more dialogue head back downstairs.

To the right is a marked door. Head through the door when you are able to.

Talk to the skeleton and grab one of the Crates with your gloves. Press

to jump onto the blocks near the water and put the Crate in the hole, which will cause the water to disappear. Repeat the process, blocking two holes and then three (despite what the skeleton says, this isn't timed...). Finish the task to complete the tutorial.

After some scenes you'll eventually find yourself on a beach but not before unlocking your first achievement.

Soo...when exactly does this unlock? I made it to Furrowfield, and nothing.

@I Like Drinkin— it should unlock immediately after the tutorial. You might have to start over unless it allows you to redo tutorial.I HATE when cheevos don’t unlock😡

#I Like Drinkin, it's been a while since I played but if I recall correctly, it should have unlocked well before Furrowfield. After the intro events described, there is a cutscene and you wake up on the beach at the central island (can't remember the name) where you meet your two companions. It should unlock during or just after that cutscene.
Sounds like you'll need to start a new game and replay the intro again.
