How to unlock the Well-Armed achievement in DRAGON QUEST HEROES II - Definitive Guide

This is the longest, hardest, most annoying, toughest trophy in the game. I will give you some pointers on how to deal with this:

1. Don't miss the Golden Claws. They are in the trap room of Dunisia (similar to Dragon Quest 3)
2. Mini-Medal Grinding: 3 parts on this.
a. Finish the Monster Quotas. This gives like 100 or 200 Mini Medals.
b. Cash in your Accolades. These are worth a ton too.
c. When you're done, get the Allure Ring playing on Sundays. Max it out, then go to the Master Moosifer/Lethal Armour Area in Darkwood. This will take 2 sessions if you play well, 3 or 4 if you work, to get the rest of the Mini Medals. This will be one of the last things you do.
3. Full-On Fractos Unfettered: Arguably the hardest boss in the game, I've only beaten him once, after a five-hour session (I can't even beat him in the Maze of the Mighty), and I won by Kamikaze'ing him. Standard equipment, probably aren't going to have uber equipment, so take this into account. I think this was the worst part of this. He gives a weapon, which should help.
4. Maze of the Mighty Grinding: You need to do this for every character, every class. Grab the Uber Weapons in order, and make sure you do all the Hero Classes as well. Try to leave Angelo for the harder characters, like Ruff and the spellcasters, since he's pretty broken with Rain of Pain, Oomph, and Tension Build. You need to get all the default characters, DLC characters not necessary (though I really do recommend getting Bianca's and Psaro's, read later)
5. Uber Dragonlord: You need to beat him under 8 minutes to get the Dragonlord's Sceptre. Really annoying, this took me many tries. Generally you're going to want to go three heavy attackers and a Priest, put max Titan's Belts on the heavy attackers (I preferred Psaro and Cesar for this). Wrecklace is good too. This is probably the hardest one to clear due to the timer.
6. Uber Estark: This is possible single-player with DLC, without it, you're probably going to have to go multiplayer. I'm going to detail the DLC strategy. I used a Gladiator, Bianca, Meena, and Psaro for this. You're going to want a high-power Dogged Collar for Psaro (and the Uber Conquerer Sword as well), Snooze for Bianca, Ability + item and Wrecklace for the Gladiator (prefer Twin Swords), and a maxed out Venus's Tear for Meena, as well as your favorite standard equipment.

For this:

a. You're mostly playing the Hero as active. I recommend Beckoning Bells maxed out for the rest of the party so that Estark isn't always hunting you down.
b. Use Cold Fusion to rapidly build up tension.
c. Use your Wrecklace-boosted Coup De Grace to stun him.
d. Use "A Cut Above" with ability-boosting accessories to hit massive damage.
e. Now here's where the crutch come in. Usually Estark will build tension. You're going to counteract this with what I term "Lore Abuse". Remember in Dragon Quest 4 that Estark is asleep> You're going to use Bianca for this, since she has more HP than Sages. When he does his animation, get close with Bianca, and use Snooze. Estark will fall sleep, and lose his tension.
f. Switch to Meena. This is where that max Venus's Tear and the Blocking decreasing Party Powers come into play. Use the Cards to trigger an attack (like 3 or 4 times), then block. MUltiheal, attack if you can, block again. Multiheal, switch to Gladiator. Hit him with Cold Fusion, then block again. Keep going, he'll wake up. Coup De Grace when you get it. Repeat the strategy if he gets tension. I got 7 minutes 41 seconds on him doing this (you need under 10). The difference between getting time and not is equipment. You're going to need like max equipment to do this.

7. Finally, after getting all the weapons, switch to any unused classes on the Hero/Heroine to get the beginner weapons, and that's all she wrote. You should probably get the Platinum after doing this too.

Enjoy people!

Yes, I did. It's very difficult. If you need to I will make a recording to help people.

Yeah, I still need help on this. I'll have to look up which dungeons I still haven't beaten solo.

Did you do all of this in single player? I can't seem to beat several of the dungeons by myself.
