How to unlock the Reaper's Scorn achievement in Dragon's Dogma 2 - Definitive Guide
This achievement requires you to obtain the Eternal Wakestone.
To do this you must first find the Sphinx. You can find her by traveling North from Checkpoint Rest Town. It's a little bit of a confusing path for some so check the video below if you need a guide:
After finding her you will need to get an Unmaking Arrow. At this point you should go for the Full Marks achievement as that is given for solving all 10 of her riddles, the reward for one of which is the arrow. You can also exchange for one at Seafloor Shrine but i highly recommend against that since it will lock you out of Full Marks.
Check below for a guide to all 10 riddles but read ahead to the next step BEFORE completing the last one!
With your Unmaking Arrow in hand you need to change to the Archer Vocation to use it. After popping the Full Marks achievement you no longer have need for the Sphinx and the only way to unlock the final chest is to kill her, and the only way to kill her is to use the arrow. If you try to fight her she will give you a boss fight but will fly away at the end which is ultimately worthless.
So once the Full Marks achievement is unlocked equip the unmaking arrow and hold RB to manually aim and shoot her. Pick up the key, unlock the chest and get your Eternal Wakestone.
Finally, all you need to do now is kill 2+ NPCs and go to a morgue and use the Eternal Wakestone to revive them all. This will unlock the achievement.

Just want to underline the fact that before using the Unmaking Arrow the Sphinx has to glow purple around his neck (where the key is). If you use the arrow before that she won't drop the key and you can't get the eternal wakestone!

I think when using the Unmaking arrow on her, you have to shoot her anywhere but her face. I shot her in the back leg and the arrow killed her just fine but I have read that if you shoot her in the face, it will just make her fly away

This is obtained by reviving numerous NPCs at once through using an Eternal Wakestone. As long as there is a minimum of 2 NPCs dead within the vicinity, you can use the EW and pop the trophy. It is the perfect counter to Dragonsplague however you could simply kill/allow 2 NPCs to die and then use it.
There is only one available during each playthrough of the game and it is very easily missable.
In order to obtain it, you must complete ALL 10 Riddles for the Sphinx and then kill her before she flies away, at which point she will drop the Key of Sagacity, which opens the 11th chest, being the largest one that was directly behind where she stood.
HOWEVER, if you fail the quest line or the Sphinx flies away too soon, all is not lost!
The Eternal Wakestone CAN BE GIFTED from other players when they dismiss your Pawn.
IMPORTANT:
The Eternal Wakestone CAN BE FORGED for 30K Gold at Ibrahim's shop, at the Checkpoint Rest Town.
It is a perfect forgery, unlike the regular Wakestone, which results in a WOKEstone, a completely useless item.
If you haven't obtained one or are having trouble doing so, MESSAGE ME on PSN and I can gift you one, as I have been forging them in order to gift away to other players and have gifted at least 30 other PSN accounts so far. No gifts/Gold is needed in response, simply happy to help.
The Finder's Token for Sphinx Riddle 5 (Rumination) is also forgeable and I've been gifting those too, so if you'd still like to obtain your EW by yourself but are having trouble remembering the location of your first Seeker's Token, I'm always available to gift anyone a Finder's.

For this achievement, you actually require several others and should be an Archer for the first part of this.
You are given the Eternal Wakestone item by killing the Sphinx NPC, who can be found up in the mountains (Guide for her questline by the excellent Powerpyx: https://www.powerpyx.com/dragons-dogma-2-all-sphinx-riddles-... ) whereupon she tasks you with completing ten of her riddles. After the fifth riddle, she flies off, and you should grab onto her and hold on for the journey while refilling your stamina with food, landing at the next location for her final 5 riddles.
(I've also read you can destroy the jewellery on her body without her flying off to kill her, but as the game is new, try this at your own risk.)
After you finish her 10th riddle, she bids you farewell. Let her fly into the air while aiming above where she'll go. Using the Unmaking Arrow from one of her reward chests, equip it in the inventory and shoot her with it and she will die and the big chest will unlock, granting you this item. I recommend making an inn save just before you turn in the final riddle, so you can reload if you mess up.
Now, with the eternal wakestone, go to the morgue in a city or settlement where you've killed some NPCs. For me, I had killed two in the Capital, so I ventured there. Now, while standing close to the morgue make sure you're OUTSIDE (your Arisen throws the stone into the air), and use the eternal wakestone from your inventory. The game will prompt you about who you're reviving, accept, and you'll resurrect them and the achievement will pop. As far as I know, you need to do this with more than one body in the morgue, as it didn't work for me with just the one body and I had to reload.
Note: It's not a glitch, you won't unlock THOUGHT I'D LOST YOU doing this. That achievement requires you to revive a single individual NPC at a morgue using a standard Wakestone.
