How to unlock the The Specialist achievement in Dragons Dogma Dark Arisen - Definitive Guide
Skills in your vocation are learned by either visiting Asalam (in Gran Soren) or Olra (Bitterblack Isle) and selecting the appropriate conversation option.
As you gain experience (XP) you will also gain discipline (DCP) … even after maxing out a characters skills, you will continue to gain DCP even if you don't change to a different vocation. Some gear (e.g., Ring of Perseverance) will increase the amount of DCP earned.
Some skills are not initially available and only appear as choices after you have taken earlier skills. Some skills are shared across multiple vocations but many are unique to your class\vocation.
Regardless how you get the skills, they count toward maxing out a vocation's total but you will have to get all of the skills in each category.

Can this achievement be done on a pawn, or must it be your main character?
Edit: this can be gotten on your pawn, did it just now
