How to unlock the Well Equipped achievement in Dragons Dogma Dark Arisen - Definitive Guide
Just needed to add that it has to be 350 DIFFERENT items!! For example, if you got the Mark of the Chimera shield behind the tree in Witchwood in your first playthough, and you pick it up again in NG+ while doing Witch Hunt, it WILL NOT COUNT!!!
Same goes with anything found in chests, purchased at a store, or as Notice Board rewards!!!! A good idea is to keep at least one item of anything you bought (or found) in your inn inventory...let me give you an example why......
If you go to Caxton to buy a weapon, and you see Bastard Sword Amount:0 (1), that means, whatever you have in parentheses, you already own X amount of them, in this case, you own one....or Thousand Troops Amount:0 (3).....its telling you that you already own 3 of them, if you want to grind/farm this if you have a lot of money........here's how.......
First, see how many items you need, hit , select HISTORY, and click till you get to ADVENTURE LOG, then to INVENTORY........Look at Types of Weapons Obtained, then Types of Armor Obtained.....
In my case it was.....
Types of Weapons Obtained 115
Types of Armor Obtained 199......314 items total, which meant I needed 36 items......
Save by sleeping at an Inn, then go and buy all the cheapest items that have Amount:0 (0) below them.........you can sell items if you run out of gold as well as dumping them at the Inn if it gets too heavy.......as soon as the achievement pops, return to last checkpoint, and you won't lose any money.........
Hope this helps someone!!!

I’ve played through the game twice, and bitterback once and still need 12 items. Feel like I’ve bought all the stuff from all the shops…

It's best to leave this intill it's one of your last achievements
You can see how many you have by looking in the history tab in the start menu.
Before I started this I had already got a lot of weapons and armor from playing the game , farming the ur dragon and bitter Black Isle.
Then go to any shop in gran soren then sell as much as you can from your inventory and stored items. ( i had weapons and armor from ur dragon and bitter black that sold for a
lot )
Get as much gold as you can then go to each shop in gran soren and buy all weapons and armor when you are full sell the things you just brought then continue buying more.
You should then reach 350 before you run out of gold then reload your save so you get your items back
(make sure you do not save the game or leave gran soren at any point )
If you run out of gold before the achievement then reload the save and continue playing intill you get more weapons/armor and gold then come back and try again
You could try other shops or farm ur dragon and bitter black to get more

O, what counts and what doesn't? For example I'm at weapons 115, and armor 199, but even after looting chests, the amount doesn't go up....

Making multiple runs through BitterBlack Isle (especially after defeating Daimon for the first time) will net you tons of powerful weapons, armor, and rings. These will always have better stats than anything you can gain in the main game. And any duplicates you come across or purify, can be sold for 100k or more. Some even in the millions by themselves (level 3 armor and weapons purified). Once you have a sufficient amount of gold, go to Barroch (who will be standing with Orla outside the doors to BitterBlack Isle after defeating Daimon) and buy whatever he has that isn't in your inventory yet. Then fast travel to Gran Soren and buy whatever Caxton has that you don't already. If you still don't have the achievement, fast travel to Cassardis and buy everything you don't have from Aestella, should definitely unlock for everyone by then.
