How to unlock the Mixed Results achievement in DREDGE - Definitive Guide

Once you get the bait ability you dont need to catch the fish in the spot you throw the bait. Keep throwing out bait and the achievement will pop once a spot that has 3 different fish pops up.

I also did it in the open area you pass to get to the Airman, took a few tries.

Very easy place to do this is in the bay between the starting ports of Greater Marrow and Little Marrow. There’s like 3-4 fishing spots right in that area. It’s K8 on the map.

I first used the bait shortly after unlocking it, in the first open area away from the dock where you get it. Got the achievement, getting 3 different Mangrove type fish.

The ability to create and use bait is related to the Airman located in the Top Left of the Map, Twisted Strand. After completing Chapter 4, the necessary quest line up there, the Airman (located in E13) will gift you one free bait and he is able to make more bait if you provide him with more fish.

Bait crafting is obviously required to use the bait skill. Use the bait near areas with a minimum of 3 different types of fish and you should get the achievement.

As alluded to previously, one of the easiest spots to get this is the starting bay area between Greater Marrow and Little Marrow.

After completing the Twisted Strand Relic Pursuit, the marooned Airman will give you one free bait as well as unlock the ability to purchase Bait at the Traveling Merchant. 

Place the bait in waters with at least three types of fish nearby and you should be awarded this trophy. I was able to easily obtain this in Stellar Basin which has Coastal, Shallow, Abyssal and Hadal species in a small area.

If the first time using the bait did not work for the trophy, then only two types of fish came. Try again in another place.

Ideal place next to big salt. As soon as we set sail, we can try to scatter the bait.

Just put 3 crab traps next to each other and when they get full, use the bait
