How to unlock the Prey Sighted achievement in DREDGE - Definitive Guide

Hold cn_LB to open your tool wheel and select the spyglass. Then use cn_X to look around and spot fishing spots. For this achievement you simply need to spot a fish of each type at least once. The types are as follows:

Coastal
Shallow
Oceanic
Abyssal
Hadal
Volcanic
Mangrove

I'm not sure if Dredge counts as a category for this achievement but if its not unlocking then give it a try.

The spyglass is one of many useful tools you can access with L1. It allows you to scan 360 degrees around your boat for any specific fish you may need to catch or any dredging spots in the water.

Once you have scanned enough fish to have found each of the seven varieties (Coastal, Shallow, Oceanic, Abyssal, Hadal, Mangrove and Volcanic) you should receive this trophy. You do not need to catch fish for them to count for this specific task or have unlocked the rods needed in that area, so simply look around in the five areas and you should complete this wth little effort.
