25 gun kills is pretty quick and easy to obtain.
After getting your melee kills purchase the lvl 1 machine gun. You will than get this in the next few waves.

This should unlock during Wave 8 or 9.
After you unlock Sword fighter (100G) and complete Wave 3 (assuming you started with the swords), during the intermission, press
to access the store. Press 
once to access the ‘gun’ menu. For both the left and right modules, select ‘MG I’ (the icon with three bullets), then press 
to start the wave. From here, you should only be using guns by pressing and/or , so it’s just a matter of destroying 20 enemies with them equipped.
