Awarded for jumping off the platform. Press RS and jump onto a platform and jump over the fence into the water..
You can do this anytime though I'd wait till you at least beat the Treader and Survive 10 consecutive waves.
But its pretty easy to do 40 waves in one run and you can celebrate your newly acquired 1000g by saving this for last.

This can be done at any time, but best to do it on Wave 1 as to not lose any progress. To unlock this, simply roll off the platform into the water below.
