How to unlock the Zen Master 50 achievement in Droplitz - Definitive Guide
OK so I found the key is NOT making as many paths as possible - just do one path at a time and take it slow.
I can't remember which map is best, but use one which is wide but not tall.
Make one path, for example to the left of the screen, and as the purple drop makes it's way down start building a path up the centre or the right hand side, but don't finish it. Get the new path so that you just need to make one more turn to complete it and ONLY complete it one the board starts to clear from the previous one.
Once the path on the right is running, go back and start preparing a new path on the left etc etc.
Once you get into a rhythm you can use the fast forward to get the board cleared when you are ready to finish your next path.
Use power up mode as the slow downs can be useful for tricky situations and the bomb is good for clearing areas where you can't make a path.
Always watch out and make sure that the path you are currently building doesn't have any existing path pieces below it which would cause it to fall.

To get this achievement, I went on the largest board in Power Up mode. If you haven't unlocked this mode and or board, this technique may still work but it could be harder.
The key to this technique is to have a lot of U shaped tiles, which can be droppers or recievers depending on their orientation.
When you open the board, try to make as many paths as possible, without using any o the U shaped tiles. Once you have made as many paths as you can, look to see how to make a path with a U shaped tile still on the board. If possible, try to see how the tiles will fall, so that they will fall into place, creating a new path in the next round, continuing the combo. If you cannot line them up to fall into place, you have 1 or 2 seconds to rotate a single tile, while the new tiles are falling into place.
The advantage of doing this in powerup mode is because you can use the powerups (especially freeze and slow down) to give you more time to make as many paths at possible.
If any of this needs clarification, please feel to message me.

As stated above, Chain Reactions are the only way to keep the multiplier when a path set disappears. Watch the video above to see how the player sets up paths to collectors that extend towards the top of the puzzle before a new set of dials falls down. U-Dials will also be your friend here, creating a new pink droplitz to extend the time the current dial set is on the board and allowing you to do more preparing. These will require patience as many times, even with high skill and preparation, the dials will just not fall where you need them to.
