Duke Nukem Forever

At the end of the mission where you are on top of the dam, you will find yourself fighting aliens from one side of the dam to the other. Once you reach the other end the Battlelord will climb up in front of you.

Unlike the previous fight in the pit, this time you will need to take him down twice before you can humilate him. He also has two allies on jetpacks, but they tend to concentrate on your teammate and didn't even pose as a distraction.

Playing on hard difficulty, I simply stood behind the blue car next to the boss and the first ammo box emptying my rpg and resupplying as soon as my clip was empty. If you center the car between you and the boss correctly, you will be able to just stand still and fire at him as he shoot at the car which can't explode so you are safe.

Eventually he will begin to move forward and kick cars at you (I had him down to just below half health by this point). At this point I deployed my holo duke and ran backwards while still shooting at him. Move back to the next ammo crate and finish off his first health bar. You will easily be able to do this before your holoduke expires. Once he kneels, run up to him and do your handiwork.

The second stage of this battle he will occasionally rush forward at you, dealing massive damage and throwing cars around also. If he hits you with this and you can't get away in time he will simply stomp on you, killing you instantly. My method of dealing with this stage was to simply take a beer at the moment that he stood fully up, and then repeating my barrage of rockets in his face.
He does deal a lot more damage in this second stage, but I managed to down him easily enough without even having to move back to the third ammo box.

Once he finally falls again, run up to him and mutilate him further before humiliating him to death.

Alright for all those who haven't had any luck with the guides above here is mine. When you get to the end of the bridge and the battlelord throws his minigun up onto the bridge immediately turn around and run all the way to the other end of the bridge (making sure you have a rpg with you). When you are at the other side he should just be starting to shoot at you. Unload your rpg's on him and refill at the ammo box right next to you. I found that he does not come after you on his first stage so you have no problem taking him down the first time.




So you killed him the first time, before you run up to do the button combo make sure your rpg is full. Do the button sequence and quickly run right back to where you were, turn around and shoot him as fast as you can and get one more reload from the box. To the right of you there is a bus hide behind it and make it so you can only see his head over it, that made it so he couldn't hit me, unload another clip in him.




This is the hardest part wait till the right time (right when he stops shooting his minigun) and run for the box and back to the bus. Unload the last clip and he will be finished do the humiliation and there you go! Achievement. Good luck to everybody hope this guide helps!
