How to unlock the I Am All That Is Man achievement in Duke Nukem Forever - Definitive Guide

But maybe you prefer a text guide ? Here are all the unique EGO awards, in a chronological order as you progress the game. These are the ones you need, a lot of them have multiple appearances but this list is build upon the first encounter, the EGO award only counts once in case you didn't know. Oh yeah, you can always use level select to get any EGO Caps you might have missed.
Do note that if you missed some caps on your first playthrough and you are going back for them, the game won't save it until you hit a checkpoint !
Duke Lives
Mirror - Admire yourself in the mirror ( there are a lot of mirrors in the game but this is the first one you can get )
Toilet - Go pee, when you boot the game for the first time you are already peeing but that does not give you EGO.
Pool - Play a game of pool and pot all the balls, when you pot the white ball you will have to re-start unfortunately. ( Tip: You can press X on the cue ball when you aim at it anytime, it doesn't have to lay still. This way you can prevent scratch )
Damn! It´s late
Popcorn - In the lounge room is a microwave with bags of popcorn next to it. Pick up a bag and put it in the microwave.
Autograph - You will soon find a man with his son asking you to sign his book.
The Duke Cave
Dumbbell - Pick one up and do a curl.
Bench Press - First get all the extra weights and add them to the bench, after you've added them all do a bench press.
Punching Bag - Just punch it using RT
Basketball - Throw a ball into the hoop
Pinball - There are more pinball machines throughout the game, the highscore you have to beat varies with each player. You can check the backboard for your target ( credit to for pointing this out ).
Speed Bag - Like the Punching bag, just punch it.
The Lady Killer
Slot Machine - Pick a slotmachine and keep playing until you win. On the machine itself you can see what combinations you need.

Copy Machine - I like this one, go to the copy machine and make a nice copy of your ass :)

Stripper - Tip a Stripper ( on the little stage with the pole, the stripper will eventually walk to the end of the stage where you can tip her, if there is no stripper on stage, try going backstage and back to the stage again )
Porno Movie - There is a room in the strip club with a key lock on it. The code is "4768". Now pick up the porno DVD you can find there and put it into the tray of the DVD player.
Alien Abortion - beat a game of Alien Abortion
Poker - Win a hand on the poker machine.
Air Hockey - Win a game of Air Hockey
Crash Course
Frisbee - After you climb up, you'll find a sportsbag, a ball and a frisbee. Pick up the frisbee and throw it.
Duke Burger
Cigar - In the beginning of the level, when you arrive at the duke burger turn around and walk over the snake-like thingy. Eventually you'll come across a reception desk, go trough the door and you'll find your cigar in there on one of the shelfs.
Pornomagazine no.1 - Find in the toilets at the beginning of the level
Mighty Foot
Binoculars - There are multiple of these that look across the canyon. Look for those things you also see at let's say, the Statue of Liberty.
Computer - Close to the Binoculars is a security building, get on the roof to access it and use the computer for some porn.
Ghost Town
Pornomagazine no.2 - When you get to the church get out of the Car and into the church, you'll find it somewhere hidden under a broken bench.

Paper Plane - After the boss, walk up and you'll find a schoolbus. The paper plane is in the back of it.
Shrunk Machine
Calendar - After you got the Freeze gun you'll come into a larger room, head for the double doors. Walk in and turn around, the calendar is next to the doors. Browse through all the pages.

Many Egos are double or triple or occasionally in Duke Nukem.
Example. Use the Mirror in Chapter 1, the Ego Award counts for every Chapter in the Game!
Example 2. Use the Billiard and Pinballmachine in Chapter 2, he counts automatically for Chapter 10.

Ego Cap Reward are given to you for interacting with different objects in the world. These rewards will make your Ego Gauge bigger, which means you'll be able to take more damage for every reward you get. There's a total of 28 Ego Caps you have to find. You can keep track of how many you've missed for each level in Chapter Select. Below is a list of all objects used in following video guide of the trophy.
Duke Lives
1. Admire the hot Duke himself in the mirror in the bathroom of Duke's apartment.
2. Take a leak in the same bathroom of Duke's apartment.
3. Sink all balls in pool in Duke's apartment.
Damn! It's Late
4. Pop some popcorn - After exiting the elevator and going down the stairs there will be 3 guys watching the news. Go into the room to the left.
The Duke Cave
5. Bench press 600 pounds in Duke's gym - You have to add the weights yourself. There are three on the floor and one on a bench in the bottom right corner of the room.
6. Curl a dumbbell in Duke's gym.
7. Punch the punching bag in Duke's gym.
8. Punch the speed bag in Duke's gym.
9. Score with a basketball in Dukes' gym.
10. Play pinball and get a score of 280.000 in Duke's gym.
The Lady Killer
11. Win at the slot machine.
The Duke Dome
12. Copy Duke's butt in the copier found in the construction office - That's the building you find to your right after you have walked through a container you blow down.
The Hive
13. Slap some breasts on the wall.
Duke Nukem's Titty City
14. Try out the glory hole in the strip club toilet.
15. Request a special dance by the stripper on the strip table in the main room of the strip club.
16. Watch at dirty DVD in the strip club office - The office is located behind the bar, use code 4768 to get in. Once in there, the DVD is placed on the desk. Take it to the DVD player and put in the DVD.
17. Win a game of poker in the Game Room.
18. Win a game of Alien Abortion in the Game Room.
19. Win a game of air hockey in the Game Room.
Crash Course
20. Throw a frisbee - After wandering around on some tentacles you'll have to smash through some alien eggs and jump down to a lower level. To the right on the walkway you land on you'll find two frisbees lying on the ground.
The Duke Burger
21. Smoke a cigar - As soon as the Chapter begins, turn around and continue down the hallway. You will soon come to an end of the hallway, and there you'll find a red door to the left. Enter the door to the next room and look on a shelf in the back of the room.
22. Read a dirty magazine - You'll come to a toilet in which you have to shrink yourself in order to proceed. Open the first toilet door and look on the floor.
The Mighty Foot
23. Watch the babes sunbathing on a pier using binoculars - After your monster truck runs out of gas for the first time, and you have gone to find some more gas, you'll come to a spot where there's a small building to the right of the highway. Ignore that building and look on the left side of the highway. There will be two binoculars with some benches around them.
24. Look at some naughty pictures on the PC found in the building stated above.
Ghost Town
25. Read another dirty magazine - After the monster truck runs out of gas once again, look to the right and you'll see a building, possible a church. Enter it and look under one of the benches to the right.
Dam Top
26. Have fun with a paper plane - After the boss fight with Battlelord on the highway, go all the way to the end of the highway and you'll see a yellow school bus. Take a look inside the bus.
The Shrunk Machine
27. Look in the calendar - After you have got the Freeze Gun and entered the room with a lot of aliens, you'll see a double door. Enter that room and turn around. It's hanging on the wall to your right.
The Forkstop
28. Read one more dirty magazine - In the beginning of the Chapter you will have to turn on the power to be able to raise up the garage door. In the same room as you turn on the power, look on the shelf behind the door you opened to get in there.
