How to unlock the Special Thanks achievement in Duke Nukem Forever - Definitive Guide
Credits come up when you complete the game, and if you're like me, you thought the credits would take forever, but it only took about 15 minutes, achievement should pop after you watch the credits.
Fun note: I thought it would take 1 hour because thats what Gearbox said didn't they?

Sorry, I never tried it, you're best off trying it yourself, it shouldn't take long.

simple, just beat the game and when the credits start, go make a sandwich, send a few texts, eat your sandwich, clean your room, clean your moms room, do the dishes, get lost in facebook, eventually you will hear it "pa-Ding" achievement unlocked
After finishing the main campaign just watch the credits all the way to the end and this trophy will pop up. Nothing to it; guess they couldn't think of anything else to put as a trophy or maybe after a million years in development they want to make sure you knew they made it.
Once you have defeated the final boss, the Cycloid Emperor, you will soon see the credits roll. Watch it all the way through to see the last Special Thanks. After you get to the main menu the trophy will pop.

After beating the game, do not skip the credits, as the game suggests, but watch them to the end, after the credits end, the achievement will be yours
