Kobolds start spawning in the final battle of act one, The Throne Room. They appear as yellow dots on the map, and light their fuses as soon as they are damaged or get near any defensive's. The easiest way to kill them is to use a hero's strongest ability to wipe them out in one shot. I would recommend using the B button ability of the Squire, Huntress, or Apprentice for this.
You should be able to get this achievement with natural play when trying to beat the game but if you want to grind it out quickly, the final battle of Act 4, Nimbus Road, has two waves that only spawn Kobolds. Completing this chapter twice should be enough to get the achievement if you haven't been focused on killing them prior to this point.

I don’t understand how you know what act 1-4 is? I see the throne room but not anything called nimbus road.
