How to unlock the Dust Hoarder achievement in Dungeon of the Endless - Definitive Guide

This achievement aligns with the requirement to unlock the Refreezerator pod. It wasn't until the third time I completed the objective of not having the crystal touched that I realized what I was doing wrong. The game keeps up with your crystal via lost dust. This includes dust you may spend with a merchant. So, if you meet a merchant that buys and sells for dust while you're going for this achievement, DON'T BUY ANYTHING! This is what was messing me up.

It doesn't matter which pod you use, but the Escape Pod or Library Pod is easiest.

As far as protecting your crystal, the greatest dangers are the doors right around the crystal itself. I would rush a door with all four players, then set up guns/neurostun, etc. and leave someone to guard that area. Always bring your four people back to the crystal before you open a new door leading off the crystal. It can help, too, having someone like Kreyang along who has an ability that slows enemies if you get in a bind. Good luck!

Good guide, just wanted to add Gork is a really good person to have for those moments where the enemies might get past your defenses as he has a really good "taunt" ability to keep the enemies on him instead of hitting your crystal.

When building defenses for rooms, I always add one Neurostun, one Smoking Gun, and one or two Prisoner Prods (usually two). If there are 5 slots I add Mechanical Pal (if there's a major module) or Pepper Spray. Neurostun is by far the most important for this achievement.

During the late game, some of the better setups involve combining 2-3 Tesla or Tear Gas Modules with 2 Neurostun modules. In an average sized room on Too Easy the 3 and 2 combination is enough to kill just about every mob.

Edit: Spending Dust to purchase items from a merchant counts as losing Dust. Don't mess this up like I did!

The most difficult achievement in the game. You need to win the game without losing a single unit of Dust. Under no circumstances should you allow monsters to approach the crystal; any damage to it is a loss of Dust. Also, buying goods from a seller for Dust = losing Dust, do not buy goods for Dust from traders! It is possible to sell goods and receive dust for them.

It’s best to leave it until you understand the basic mechanics, you have access to the Weapon Capsule and all the heroes are unlocked. It is important to be sure to take a hero with a passive slowdown, such as Sara Numas. Ideally, you also need a tank with an item that will force enemies to attack him. For example, Elise Ness would be a good option, she has a good area attack.

Golgy Phurtiver and Rosetta can be extremely useful. The first is a good runner, has high damage, can be an operator and, importantly, can use a strong slowdown in the room, which, coupled with Rosetta’s passive skills and the neurostan module, allows you to hold back hordes of enemies.

Mandatory modules - neurostan, fire suppression, tear gas. An extremely useful module is the virus injector, because... is the most powerful attack module for this capsule. And of course, it’s always worth having an emergency supply of science to recharge Golgi’s abilities.

At the very beginning of each floor, be sure to open all the rooms adjacent to the crystal in a crowd, because... One hit of the character who was sent for camera work may not be enough, which will be extremely disappointing.

Also, ideally, make a save before moving to a new floor, at the beginning of the floor if it suits you, in the middle of the floor and before moving the pier. Always uploads the save to the cloud/flash drive. Saving before moving to a floor will allow you to load the game and rebuild the entire floor to avoid situations where at the beginning you have 4 entrances to the room with the crystal, ideally there should be 2. The second and third will allow you to replay if you suddenly find yourself somewhere If you don’t keep track, the enemy will still get to the crystal. Well, the last one is useful in case you are met by too large a crowd of enemies at the exit, especially important at the last levels.

I would like to clarify points that were not voiced here.
A) if the hero took the crystal, he can be beaten. This will not affect the trophy
B) if the crystal is hit, you can simply close the game rather than loading it from a flash drive (this applies to all trophies)
C) if the monster swung, but did not have time to hit, then you can continue, the main thing is that there is no sound of dust being lost.
D) I recommend leaving one damage dealer in the room with the crystal so that he can finish off the lost souls of the ignorers. And the trophy is far from difficult; the 24th floor was much more difficult.
