How to unlock the Circle of Friends achievement in Dungeon Siege III - Definitive Guide

You get this achievement for becoming a "friend" of all of your teammates which is done by filling an ally's Influence bar about a quarter or so of the way up, possibly less. That means that you must earn 3 of the following 4 Deeds at some point during the game (not including the character you are playing as obviously):

Celestial Ally--Anjali
Bewitching Ally--Katarina
Academic Ally--Reinhart
Montbarron Ally--Lucas

You gain Influence just by playing with certain allies throughout the game and by making conversation choices with NPCs that your current ally likes (which is where the bulk of Influence comes from). You can simply play through the game and switch out allies until they each give you their respective deed or if you are like me and only ever played with one ally you can use the Maximum Charisma trick, which I'll detail here to save time.

At the finale of the game you will find yourself back at the original Legion Chapterhouse that is located on Pilgrim Road. At the bottom of the Chapterhouse is a room with a save point and two doors that lead to the East Forest outside (and the end sequence of the game). Save your game and walk up to the door and press RB to open it, but go no further. Your ally will then spat some prattle about serving with you, which will then be followed by an "Influence Gained" text at the bottom of the screen. Save your game again and then reload that same save. Walk up to the still opened door and press RB again when given the prompt. The doors will "open" again and your ally will repeat themselves along with giving you Influence once more. Repeat this process until you have enough Influence with all 3 allies. Shouldn't take more than a few minutes.

When I did this the door looked open, but could still be activated with RB.

Precisely, that's why I said "walk up to the still opened door and press RB again."

This will come naturally over the course of the game, just don’t stick to any one companion. You can tell when you have at least some influence with a companion by checking the Deeds section, this will show who you have already got influence with. Once you have received a deed for that companion, select another and work on them. The bar should be around halfway between the start and the letter 'I' in Influence on the select screen.

**** Also for Maximum Charisma, just after the last fight with Jeyne, you have to come out from the Legion Chapterhouse, where there is some fire at your back and a save point on the left. Take note from here.... there are 2 doors in front of you, when you open the 1st door, your companion will praise you with some words. Immediately after that you will receive some influence from them. Make a save, reload the save, then open the 1st door again (spam if the door is open). You will receive influence again, redo it until you get the trophy.

If you go out into the forest to level grind, return back before you save; you can open the door again as well. Thank you to Frogcat for the spot on this.

At the end of the game, you will find yourself in your burning shelter. As you go down the stairs there will be a safe and a door. You save, open the door, you receive a message that your reputation has improved, you save and load the safe again, the door is closed and you can open it again. Thus, you need to pump up the reputation for 3 companions to the first division. (about a third of the strip).
