How to unlock the Loremaster achievement in Dungeon Siege III - Definitive Guide

Original Lore Location Guide

This is a guide to all original 70 Lore, although only 60 are required for the achievement. It has been intended to be written in the order that you can find them. NOTE: The Spire is a point of no return. If you are going back through the game to collect ones you have missed, they are collected in alphabetical order in your journal for easy reference.

The extra DLC lore also count towards this achievement, although my guide only contains the original 70.

Great list. I was wanting to make a note, if you join someones game and they pick up the sixtieth lore you will earn the achievement as well.

I made a save at the Chanel of Azunai in the Spire before picking up the lore which happened to be the sixtieth one I found. I tested it out and invited someone to my game, then I just went and picked it up and they were able to obtain the achievement as well.

Thought others might want to know if it were possible.

about nr. 70, make sure to pick it up before leaving the room, as you can't get back.

Any ideas about whether people that join your game AFTER you have collected the 60th can get this somehow?

Not sure if they ever could on that save, as it is purely save related. Once unlocked no one could unlock it again after, sorry to say (Unless there is a trick I don't know about laugh), without reloading the save at and repicking up number 60.

I would just like to add that the DLC lore entries count towards this as well. I did not have the achievement after beating the game but got it playing through the DLC

I had 49 lore from playing the game and thought I would have to restart. After reading this I played through the DLC and got the achievement.

Missable.

For this you need to search for bookcases, books on tables, notes on the floors and walls. This is an easy trophy as long as you search everywhere and whenever you see the chance to select something (). I got this in Glitterdelve, after completing Stonebridge. You can do these 2 quests in any order so you might get it in Stonebridge if you have done Glitterdelve first. There are more than 60 lore entries, though, so don’t worry if haven't gotten it by then and just keep looking.

There are 2 deeds in the game associated with lore entries, you will get the first at 30 and the second at 60, this will somewhat help you to at a quick glance see how far you are. The only other way of knowing how many you have is to press and go to Lore, you can then count them for an exact number.

** Sandworm has created a great guide for the Lore within this game here: Lore Guide.
