Just ensure you don’t buy these two upgrades on accident and the achievement is yours! I had no issues completing this mission without them.
Also, don’t be fooled like I was with the icon and the red circle through the potion 😅
I restarted a 30 min run because I though I stuffed it up, but that’s just how the tile looks.

Also - the potions you find in the dungeon by exploration don't do anything if you don't even have a potion room. No need to worry about 'finding' them.

I also thought I failed from the icon xD
Does anyone know if you can use spells though? Like Teleport is fine but what about the other stuff like summoning the tenticles for example. Or do these classify as abilities for tanya? Idk was too scared to throw away an hour to test it xD
