On the overworld there are three yellow explanation points on the map. Go there, defeat the enemies and break the cage open to free the three creatures. You also need to destroy all 11 of the blue village/tent icons on the map. I destroyed the human statues as well (not marked on map) but not sure that was necessary for the achievement.
