Dunk Lords

Game 13 of the story mode (vs. D-Rock and Tina) is BY FAR the best chance to get this achievement.

I will point out that getting to this specific game means that you have to play the first 12 games in story mode, but the first part of story mode is 2 hours or less and you’ll end up getting to this game anyways if you’re trying to beat the story mode again on Pro.

The advantage of Game 13 is huge!
You get triple the items to choose from (since they change every quarter), and you make 3-5 times the amount of money as normal (so you can buy all of the items). This cuts down the time to buy everything from about 15 games down to 2 or 3. This also eliminates some element of random number generation (RNG) if you’re trying to get one or two remaining items.

The court for this game has 2 money blocks to shoot from, and the money is double ($100 each made shot). Your teammate is Abby, who is a really good shooter. She’ll always reach “green shooting” from the money blocks, meaning she’ll likely make the shot every time. Basically, shoot with her from the money blocks every possession to build up as much money as possible. You can also get an extra money boost buy being down 10+ points at the end of a quarter. Other than that, the game play doesn’t really matter since you’re only looking for money and buying items.

This achievement popped for me IN GAME, right after I purchased the last item. If it doesn’t pop going into the 4th quarter, then just sit idle and lose the game, so you can retry a new game repeat the process. I DO NOT know if you can quit in the 4th quarter (and quick restart). However, I did have a game glitch out on me (screen went dark except for the score, essentially frozen), and the item I bought that game ended up being my last remaining item to pop the achievement. So quitting the game from the home screen DOES NOT save.

For me, the last item was Hover trails shoes, but the rarest item was Bone crusher gloves. I’ve only seen them one time in 40+ games. I also did not play co-op, so I do not know how that affects the tracking of the items for achievement. My guess would be host only.
