How to unlock the Blue Bomber achievement in Dust An Elysian Tail - Definitive Guide

Bombs are purple looking fruit. Lure at least 6 enemies toward one and hold to pull the bomb with dust storm. Best done in chapter 1 as the enemies have less health and more likely to die in one hit from a bomb.

There's a bridge in Abadis Forest that you cross as part of the story. There's 3 bombs in this area, along with many Avees (flying monster) that you can kill for the achievement. If you don't get it your first try, you can leave the area and the monsters & bombs will respawn.

At the very first area of the Archer's Pass, where the first save spot is, under it you will see a bomb fruit. Flying enemies will fly around chasing you. Gather a bunch of them from the right side of the save spot, lure them to the save spot, stand there making sure there's at least 6 enemies there, press Y button to start your Dust Storm attack while standing on flat surface. You will pull the bomb fruit close to you and 6 or more enemies will blow up! This is one the earliest and easy ways to get this achievement.

That's how I got it, it may take a few tries, since the enemies can hurt each other.

I have to try about 4 times, because they just kept dying from eachother, haha.

i was having real trouble with this because as soon as i started dust storm it killed everything, there is a pendant called the ugly pendant which lowers your attack rating massively, i suggest putting this on so the enemies don't die from dust storm

Great suggestion to use the ugly pendant (or cowards x.1 attack). It made this so much easier to do at the end of the game when you are powered up.

Solution should be updated with the above suggestions.

I don't even think I used that pendant. Just lure a bunch of the flying enemies closer to you, it was very early in the game with minimal amount of equipment. The bomb should be taking care of the blow. I explained it exactly how I did it.

To kill 6 enemies with a bomb fruit you first need to find an open area where you have access to the fruit and a group of enemies. Once you have a group of enemies lined up, use your dust wind attack by pressing :y: to pull the fruit towards the group of enemies. If you manage to kill 6 enemies in one explosion this will unlock.

Here's how I got the Achievement; I'm sure there are other places you can get it too.

In the Abadis Forest, head to the room which has a long bridge with a bomb at the left end and a save point at the right end. It's two rooms below and one to the right of the top-most point on the map, and one room left of the Challenge Room.

Enter the room from the left side of the screen, just next to where the bomb grows. Get three groups of flying enemies to chase you and run back to the bomb. Use the Dust attack to pull the bomb off; it will explode upon contact with an enemy.

With any luck, you'll hit six enemies on your first shot. If not, exit from the left and try again.

Bombs are purple glowing fruit you can find hanging in the environment. You'll play a tutorial and learn about them the first time you find a breakable wall. Lure at least 6 enemies toward a bomb and hold  to pull the bomb with dust storm. Best done in chapter 1 as the enemies have less health and more likely to die in one hit from a bomb.

A good place to get this would be in Chapter 1 in Abadis Forest. The area is a map consisting of a very long bridge with a few bombs spaced throughout. First what you'll want to do is run around and round up all the flying Avee's. Once you have a big pile of them flying around you, go near a bomb and use your Dust Storm to pick it. Have the group of enemies run into it and watch them all die. If it didn't pop, go out of the map and back in to retry. After 6 die at once, you will get your trophy.

If difficulties arise, you can do it on 6 jellyfish at the Ivydale Glen location. First you will need to put them together.

Ideal hint.

There is a much simpler way than collecting 6 jellyfish at one point.

Location - Abadis Forest.

You need that part of the location where there is a long bridge with a large number of flying opponents (just in front of the screen where you need to extinguish the burning debris of the house using a waterfall). For orientation purposes, on the same screen, high on the platform, there is a chest with 4 locks, where one of your twelve friends is locked.

It just so happens that exploding fruit bombs also grow on this bridge. You just need to run from one side of the bridge to the other to collect as many opponents as possible near you (there will be about 10-15 monsters). Then use the power of DustStorm to detonate a fruit bomb right in the thick of your opponents. However, do not be afraid - you yourself will not receive damage from the explosion of these fruits!

The easiest way to do it is on beehives, and not as recommended above. Don't hit the hive, but wait until a lot of bees fly out and then kill them with a bomb. If the bomb is far away and you are too lazy to drag it, then you can simply drag these bees along with you and hold them near the bomb

The advantage of this option is that if it doesn’t work out the first time, then you can just keep calling bees until it doesn’t work out.

Bombs and bees respawn endlessly.
