Are any of these missable, or can you go back and do them at any time?

Snowflakes can be glitch some time, so save before doing it because if it goes glitch it will not gave you the achievement, the quest and the rainbow gem. It will cause somes achievements impossible to obtain in this playthrought.

I noticed in the video that the 1,000 combo was done by deliberately toning down to casual. Won't this affect the achievement for completing the game in tough/ hardcore?

All credit to this goes to bs000 From the True Achievement site if you wish to give this a positive vote please go there and upvote his. I only bring this over to the True Trophies site as I wish for this community to have guides that are easy access. I have not made any edits as his guide was perfect in my opinon. Any use of ths word I outside this paragraph refers to bs000.

There are 21 available side quests in the game. None of these quests are missable or will go away. They can be completed down to the very last minute before the final boss fight. Even if you are eager to beat the game, you can still reload a save to start from whenever you want. There is also 3 trophies that you will obtain during this part, 2 of which need to have extra attention put on them. Paragon and Renegade are trophies based on a choice you make during the Out to Dry side quest. The other trophy you will obtain is One Last Wish from completing Bopo's side quest, Snowflakes.

The quest S-S-S-Combo Breaker must be completed, because they give you , despite the fact that you can first get 1000 hits into a combo, and then take the quest, which will be immediately completed and counted among the 20 required
