How to unlock the Triple threat achievement in Dustforce - Definitive Guide

I got this achievement on level 2 of the Mansion stages but can be done anywhere with enough dust to fill your special gauge.

Once your meter in the lower left corner is at maximum (blinking) press the X + Y buttons to execute an area attack. Do this two more times in the same level and this achievement is yours.

In order to use an area attack you must first fill up the combo meter at the bottom left of the screen. You will need 100 hits to fill it up. Once filled simply press + together to unleach an area attack. Do this three times in one level and the achievement is yours.

Glitched on version 1.00. This trophy can only be obtained in version 1.01 and the easiest way to get it is to play a battle level with any character, keep getting hit to charge the Area attack gauge, use an Area attack without killing everyone, and rinse and repeat until you pull off the 3rd Area attack. The trophy should unlock after it or after ending the level. If you are using this method, make sure you work on this trophy AFTER getting Easy Does it .
