How to unlock the Lucky 7 achievement in Dying Light - Definitive Guide
Racing to a certain area (this will usually pop up if you put a waypoint on the map and then exit the pause menu, try not to do to much parkour as the climbing animation can slow you down sometimes. If you have the agility skill to vault over zombies, be sure to use that, but be careful not to spam it as that really kills your stamina.)
Collecting the most loot in the area (just spam holding down the button while running around and don't waste your time picking locks, looting already dead zombies can be good).
Killing the most zombies in a certain area (if you have a molotov or so, just throw it at a group of nearby zombies and this will be a breeze, its always good to carry them with you in this game).
clearing out a safe zone (This is very similar to killing the most zombies but if there is a Goon (big zombie) inside the zone, let your buddies deal with him while you quickly pick of the little guys).
Inflicting damage to a Goon ( A goon can technically be any type of special zombie however its typical a big guy with a heavy rebar. If its anything besides a big guy then just go super aggressive on it and do as much damage as possible as quick as possible, if it is a big guy then using the first agility skill you unlock (Dodge) run up to him and hit him two or three times, when he tries to swing at you, use to quickly dash away. Just run right up to him again and repeat).
Doing a certain mission objective (This is probably the most common one, besides looting. This can be any of the above Competitions, whether it be get to the objective the fastest, kill the most enemies etc. Just follow the tips above for each of them.)

First, you need (ideally) two people. Once you get to a spot where you need to load to leave/ enter like the elevator at The Tower or the Underground Parking Lot, you can continue to enter/ exit and then create a waypoint nearby - this should create a competition prompt that you then accept and your partner accepts. For this achievement you need to win - my partner and I just went one at a time until we each had 7 wins.
The reason for entering/ exiting is that it seems these show up at random on a timer, even when the challenges are set to frequent. By reloading the area you are resetting the timer and it will try to apply a challenge to the first thing you do, in this case a race.
0. I would advise playing pretty far into the game; at least up to the part when quarantine zones become available. Doing this method, will allow one person to get all 7 wins
Go into options and make challenges "frequent."
1. 2 people total is best
2. Set up a way-point at a quarantine zone. This should prompt you with a challenge to race to the way point.
-one person must finish in order to win
-if the race is not prompted try leaving the safe zone
-try place the way point a quarantine zone that is close but not too far away
3. After winning the race, enter and exit the quarantine zone. (This will reset the competition timer). You should now be able to set another way-point that will start another competition. If something does not work, try reentering/exiting the quarantine zone or moving the way-point.
Refer to "Harran Athletics" for more information.
In order to earn this trophy, you must win 7 competitions. "Competitions" are like challenges that you play with every other player in the co-op lobby. They're activated by each player holding down the button. You cannot start these manually so you will have to wait until you get a notification about wanting to start a competition. Also bear in mind that you're timed on wanting to start a competition or not so hold down the button whenever you see the notification. You can better your chances of having a competition to appear by going to the "Options" menu from the Pause menu, followed by "Online". You then have the option of changing the frequency of competitions to appear more often by changing "Frequency Of Dynamic Competition" to "Frequent".
This can easily be boosted with another player. Take turns in winning 7 competitions and you will also earn Harran Athletics in the process, which requires you to play a total of 10 competitions. They do not need to be different, and do not need to be in a single session. Both of these trophies will unlock upon completion.
To organize a boosting session, refer to the Co-op Partners Thread (Read First Post!).
