How to unlock the My left or your left? achievement in Dying Light - Definitive Guide

This is story related and cannot be missed.

Assuming you follow the general direction of the story, and don't go off doing side-missions/exploring, you will get this after about 1-2 hours of play when you are tasked to go and make contact with the "other side".

Once you reach their base, and enter the door, a cut scene will play, and the achievement unlocks at the end. Good luck!!

This trophy unlocks towards the beginning of the 4th story mission, "Pact with Rais". Below is a small walkthrough, along with the mission objectives:

Mission Objectives:

  • Buy Antizin from Rais
  • Introduce yourself to Rais - This is where you'll unlock the My left or your left? trophy.
  • Get your tasks from Karim
  • Contact the GRE
  • Find a telecommunication antenna
  • Turn on the antenna's power
  • Search the antenna for a transmitter box
  • Turn on the transmitter
  • Get payment from Rais
  • Talk to Rais
  • Get directions of the settlements
  • Contact the GRE
  • Make the pickup at Jaffar's Wheelstation
  • Persuade "Jaffar"
  • Meet the courier at the tunnel entrance
  • Make the second pickup at the Fishermen's Village
  • Close the gate and clear the village of infected
  • Search the huts for the leader
  • Get the payment from Gursel
  • Make the third pickup at the Ferry Harbor
  • Talk to Morgan
  • Take the package from Morgan
  • Return the Payments to the Garrison
  • Find the missing patrol
  • Look for an envelop with blueprints on it
  • Get the payment from Rais


In this mission, you will travel to Rai's hideout and ask for a trade of Antizin. In order to make the trade, he will make you do various errands for him (4 to be exact). However, this trophy unlocks as soon as you meet him.
