You can complete scenarios by unifying China (controlling all of the territories), make sure you have a spouse at the end of your first scenario and you are playing on at least normal difficulty (hard is preferable for getting the best gems/artifacts) this will save you a lot of time and extra playthroughs getting the other achievements
