How to unlock the Killing Blow achievement in DYNASTY WARRIORS: ORIGINS - Definitive Guide

Duels usually show up in the main missions and the officer you can duel will have two swords crossing over their dot so you can go up to the officer and press 
+ 
to initiate a duel.
The goal is to get the top bar in blue all the way over to the right by hitting the enemy and you the enemy gets progress on you when they hit you. Once you make it all the way to the end before the time limit ends then you can press
to finish them and get progress to this achievement.
Another note if you want to get this out of the way quick, is if you win you can actually withdraw from battle and restart the battle from the closest checkpoint to the person you duel therefore you can get more progress to the achievement if you win. Rinse and repeat till you get the achievement.

As you progress through the game, officers in battles will start to occasionally challenge you to a 1v1 duel when you approach them in battles. This just requires you to press L1+R1 to accept then you have to beat them.

Duels pop up randomly during battles, as you near opposing generals and officers. When you see the notification appear onscreen, you need to press
