You are able to acquire the ability to purchase a Musou Rage for 80 skill points by completing the main characters story missions in retrieving his memories again.
There should be 5 missions where you acquire incense to use in the village by Yuanhua.
You must get to Musou Rank which is level 38 to be able to buy the Musou Rage. You should be able to buy it without getting anything in the previous branches or the new new one once you unlock it.

You can acquire the Musou Rage later on in the main story in Chapter 3. You are given a quest to acquire inense, which you then take to the village in Yuanhua. Once you have completed that, you will be able to purchase the Musou Rage skill - it costs 80 skill points in your upgrade tree. Once you acquire a Musou Rage (it can be any of the ones available), the Peerless Warrior achievement will then unlock.
