Pyroxene is an upgrade material used to increase gem levels, which we can collect by running around the world map. It can also be awarded for certain missions, story milestones, and from Letters opened at the Inn. We can begin farming pyroxene as early as Chapter 1 once we complete the tutorials and the map is opened up to us. From Ji, we can head through the first gate and ride the boat across the river to grab a crystal near Puyang, then ride the boat back to find two more crystals have spawned in the field near the gate. And we can simply go back and forth collecting the crystals as much as we want. As an additional tip, we can hold
when crossing the river to make the boat animation go faster, speeding this method up even more.
This achievement will pop after collecting 100 of them cumulatively, we don't need to have 100 pyroxene in our inventory at one time.

Pyroxene is used to upgrade gems at the inns. You can get them as rewards from various tasks. They also just spawn on the map as big orange crystals, just pick them up when you see them and you will eventually hit 100.

Pyroxene is found on the overworld map, in the form of peach-coloured clumps of rock that stick up out of the ground. You go up to these and press 
, to gather the pyroxene. Once you have gathered a hundred clumps of pyroxene, the Pyroxene Hunter achievement will then unlock.
