How to unlock the Ark Nemesis achievement in DYSMANTLE - Definitive Guide

Completing the Ark is a pain but fairly well worth it. It's located in Frore in the SE area of the Frore Naval Base, just south of the Frore Link Tower. There's a campfire just outside and you'll know it's the Ark by the large letters ARK on the outside.

The Ark contains no enemies and upon entering you can go left or right; either direction leads you to a room with 4-6 terminals and a voiceover (likely from the King) will tell a story about the various materials noted in that room. Your task will be to bring all the materials requested to the Ark to be saved for posterity.

The room to the immediate right has eight terminals and the voiceover talks about harvesting and fishing. The items required are:
  • Brown Mushrooms - 100
  • Red Mushrooms - 80
  • White Mushroom - 50
  • Berries - 100
  • Common Roach - 70
  • Red Herring - 45
  • Superior Salmon - 30
  • Eggs -100
The next room to the right contains five terminals and the voiceover talks about camping and building things. The items required are:
  • Scrap Fabric - 500
  • Plant Matter (leaves) - 1800
  • Bone - 300
  • Hide - 100
  • Fabric - 300
The next room to the right contains four terminals and the voiceover talks about science and military things. The items required are:
  • Plastics - 6500
  • Electronics - 160
  • Scrap Electronics - 250
  • Rubber - 250
You can the enter a lobby of sorts and can progress no further until you complete the rooms on the left side. From the entry, the room to the immediate left has eight terminals and the voiceover talks about agriculture and farming. The items required are:
  • Carrot - 300
  • Tomato - 300
  • Lettuce - 220
  • Potato - 220
  • Corn - 200
  • Onion - 160
  • Wheat - 140
  • Spices - 40
The next room to the left contains six terminals and the voiceover talks about building homes and population growth. The items required are:
  • Iron - 400
  • Scrap Metal - 500
  • Scrap Wood - 400
  • Wood - 600
  • Lumber - 50
  • Ceramics - 300

The next room to the left contains four terminals and the voiceover talks about building skyscrapers and advanced materials. The items required are:
  • Steel - 300
  • Stone - 450
  • Bricks - 450
  • Titanium - 35
The payoff for getting through this isn't immediately available, however. Once you complete the Ark to 100% (the voiceover will help you keep track of this) you are allowed to access Level 2. Entering the elevator to that level takes you lower and you enter an auditorium with a few rooms behind it; there's a Lab door that you won't be able to get through. You can do nothing special here ... there are a few resource collectibles but little else for now.

Once you (nearly) complete the game, an entry to a small area is available from Crown Station Launch Pad area. Enter that area and loot all the containers; you'll find an Ark Lab Key that, when brought back to Level 2 of the Ark, allows you access to a Fabricator that can fashion the Power Fist.

The Power Fist is the strongest blunt damage weapon which, when upgraded to +5, does 100 Blunt Damage ... allowing you to destroy nearly anything damaged by blunt force in the game. While it comes a bit late in the game, the benefit for opening new pathways and accessing items previously not available (I'm looking at you Timed Crate in Canaveral!) otherwise is awesome.

There is a small mistake in your guide. It takes 650 plastics instead of 6500 like written in the guide.

This one is a grind but you can make it way easier on yourself by doing a few things early in the game. First, when you level up take the gather skill 4 times until you get the 100% bonus for picking eggs, berries, etc. Next, there's a very late game recipe for catfish kabayaki that gives you +100% material drops. Did you know you don't have to get a recipe card to make the meal? You can just put the food in the pot when you get it. Not all of the ingredients are available immediately, but once you have them all, make this meal and it'll help you out tremendously.

The recipe for Catfish Kabayaki is-

Thanks for the guide. Took time away from this game after getting stuck. Now I'm almost done aoth the main quest, and have the Ark to contend with. That Catfish Kabayaki is going to help out too.
