How to unlock the Phase 3 Complete achievement in EA SPORTS Active 2 - Definitive Guide
OK I hit this achievement and the other 2 phases of the 9 week program in about 1.5 hours this morning. Here's how:
1. Make sure it is a Thursday, Friday or Saturday. Log into xbox live and startup EA Sports Active 2. This is important because I tried it from the beginning offline and it wouldn't let me log into Active 2 profile.
2. Turn off your internet. Select change settings from the popup screen. You'll leave Active 2 but thats OK. Set the date on your console to the Sunday that is about 60 days previous, but do not exceed 63 days (9 weeks).
3. Start up Active 2 again- it should let you log in this time even if you're not connected to the internet (at least it did for me). It will have some warning about the date being different and you could lose data. Well, keep going anyway. Start the 9 week program and adjust the workout days so that the final workout of each week is the day of the week it currently is in real life.
4. Turn on your internet and connect to Xbox Live. The game will have an update and ask you to do a few checks like heart rate and weight check. Just skip them.
5. Go to your current program. It should have 35 missed workouts and 1 workout scheduled for today. DO NOT DO TODAY's WORKOUT! Go to the skipped workouts and start doing them.
6. As you start each workout, a screen will let you deactivate certain workouts using the x button. Deactivate all except 1 workout. I chose either the Fitness Trail Sprint or Mountain biking to get me a little closer to those massive achievements.
7. Now grind through all the missed workouts. When you hit 12, the 1st phase achievement should pop and when you hit 24 the 2nd phase achievement should pop. Finally, when you've done all the missed workouts, do the same for your currently scheduled workout. This achievement will pop once you finish.
Congratulations!

Ha, this is pretty epic. Shame on those suckers like me who got it by doing all the workouts (well, I am in my last week)!! Nice to know that you can't use the missed workouts if you do your final scheduled one, and also that you can take off exercises too - some of them I just can't do, so I wait while it skips them, I'll make this week a bit easier by taking some of those out!

Keep in mind that once you reach the last workout, the "missed workouts" button becomes unavailable.
If you have trouble keeping up with the 4-session-per-week schedule, just keep editing the days selected for workout, so that the next workout will always be postponed: the game only requires four weekdays to be selected, no matter which or how many times do you change them.

Each phase of the 9 week program consists of 12 workouts (4 workouts per week for 3 weeks). With 3 phases, you'll need to complete a total of 36 workouts. You can do the workouts as intended over the 9 week span or you can disconnect from Xbox Live and change the date to speed through the 36 workouts in a couple hours.
- Step 1: Set the date to roughly 2 months ago and enter the 9 week program.
- Step 2: When selecting each workout, uncheck all exercises except for 1 quick warm up exercise. Complete the workout and make sure it saves before you exit out of the game.
- Step 3: Enter your console settings and advance the date by one day. Repeat steps 2 and 3 until you complete the 9 week workout program. Make sure you adjust the workout schedule as you progress through the days so the workouts are back to back.
