How to unlock the Big Play! achievement in EA SPORTS College Football 25 - Definitive Guide

This achievement is self explanatory, you need to throw an 80 yard touchdown pass.
I did this by choosing Ohio State vs Kennesaw State and I ran the kickoff out behind the 20 yard line to make sure my touchdown will be more than 80 yards. If you are in from of the 20 yard line just select a run play and run backwards so you have enough room.
I then selected a pass play that had a receiver on a fade route (where they are running straight up) and throw a lob pass to them by tapping their receiver button.
I then switched to the receiver and clicked
so they catch it on the run. Once I scored the touchdown the achievement unlocked.

If you start the game receiving the ball as soon as you take control of your player on the kick off, run out of bounds behind your 20 yard line.
Call a play action pass and make sure one of the receivers is running a post towards the right. Once you hike the ball hold RT and scramble to the right. Once the receiver breaks away from the defender throw him the ball and turn up filed and score. The achievement unlocks as soon as you score.

Adjusting your user and CPU sliders does not affect this trophy. If going for this trophy specifically, it may be a good idea to play 5 minute quarters and make sure not to Super Sim during the game at all, as this will prevent you from unlocking this. Set yourself up with a long pass and with sliders adjusted in your favor you'll throw touchdowns almost every throw and this should unlock properly.

Just start your drive on your 20 yard line or less. A touchback will put you at the 20 and you just pick a play where the receiver goes long. I recommend using the freshman difficulty. I didn’t use the two controller method. Coulda been easier.
You can do this with anyone. I tried for this with my home team and I got lucky given the fact Illinois has a 75 overall offense but this is Freshman aka “Rookie” difficulty.
