How to unlock the Moving on Up achievement in EA SPORTS College Football 25 - Definitive Guide
Just to add to the other two:
All you need to do is win 2 or 3 games against a higher tier opponent, which should get you to rank 92 or higher. Once you pick your team then you get the option to choose which tier to search to play against.
Once you get to 92 or higher, you can lose every other game as long as you don't play a tier below you and lose (i.e. play as tier 1 and lose to tier 2). I used Iowa (tier 2) won 2+ games against tier 1 opponents and had it locked up.
The achievement doesn't pop until your season is over so if you want to do it fast, just quit after kickoff of every game once you get to rank 92 or higher including the playoff.
Protip: In between the two teams in the matchup screen it tells you what your rank will be if you win and if you lose.

This was helpful. Boosting is near impossible due to the number of online players. i found using Texas Tech and playing Tier 3 or occasionally T2 teams to be super effective. Tech is better than every T3 team, and is better than many Tier 2 teams. So if you get a few T3 wins or steal one from a T2, the path is a lot easier.

Also, don't be like me and try quitting matches to speed it up. It lowers your rank even if you are a tier 3 team playing a tier 1 team.
I ended up dipping below 92 twice and having to win more games lmao.

This is the boosting guide, if you want it legit, use the other solution.
Did this at peak hours around 10:30pm eastern. Took about 40 minutes, mainly becaise of matching.
Good luck!
Step One
You need 4 people (This will increase your chances of matching)Step Two
Turn off crossplay (This eliminates matching with ps5)Step Three
All players pick tier 3 teams and search for tier 3 teams.Step Four - Matchmaking
Step Four A
Dont match up? Dashboard. Repeat Step Three.Step Four B
If you match take turns quitting AFTER kickoff. As you are playing another t3, you wont lose rank.Step Five
Repeat steps 3-4 until everyone is at rank 92.Step Six
Match as t3 searching for t3 and lose to randos until end of season (Wait until after kickoff and quit. You will not lose rank)Step Seven

Pretty self explanatory, I unlocked this after playing my first season in RTCFP. I went 6-4 and still unlocked this achievement. To get more points per win, I reccomend using the Oklahoma Sooners, as they are a really good tier 2 program in the game mode that can beat any tier 1. I also played as the Ohio State Buckeyes (tier 1) for a few games as well. You get more points if a low tier team upsets and higher tier team (i.e a 3 beats a 2 or 2 beats a 1).

The Road to the College Football Playoff is this game's version of a ranked online mode. While your overall win/loss record is tracked, each individual is also competing in their own meta college football season where there win/loss record affects their season ranking. Wins and losses will naturally increase and decrease your ranking and beating higher tier schools will increase the ranking more. Your season is approximately 10 games long (more if you qualify for the College Football Playoff).
At the end of your own personal "season" you can move from Recruit rank to Freshman rank if you do well enough. Generally you will want to be Rank 92 or above by the end of the season to rank up. Don't make this more difficult on yourself then you need to --play as a Tier 1 school and search for opponents in the queue that are Tier 3 schools.
**BOOSTING POSSIBLE**
You could attempt to boost this trophy with someone too, though it's not a guarantee. If you plan to try this, have your boosting partner play as a Tier 1 team and search for a Tier 3 team and you do the opposite and you might get matched up together. You can also turn off crossplay if your boosting partner is on the same system. If you're playing with a boosting partner you don't have to complete the game; the losing team can concede by hitting pause and exiting the game.
