EA SPORTS FC 25

This can ONLY be done in Manager Career, not Ultimate Team.

This achievement seems to be very random and the qualifications for unlocking it are murky at best. I believe this to be an optimal solution, as I've done it three times and unlocked it consistently every single time.

This solution is going to use Manchester City as the team we'll be playing as. If you don't want to use them you’ll need to adjust rosters/positions.

From the Main Menu press Left to highlight the Gear Icon and press A

• Edit Teams
• Club Transfers

Select the following teams and players and transfer them all to Manchester City:

• Italy / Milano FC / LB #19 T. Hernandez (very important to transfer him first! When I tried transferring him later the game wouldn't let me)
• England / Arsenal / CDM #41 D. Rice
• England / Liverpool / RW #11 M. Salah
• England / Liverpool / CB #4 V. van Dijk
• France / Paris SG / GK #1 G. Donnarumma
• Spain / Real Madrid / CAM #5 J. Bellingham
• Spain / Real Madrid / LW #7 Vini Jr.
• Spain / Real Madrid / CB #22 A. Rudiger
• Spain / Real Madrid / RB # 2 D. Carvajal

Back all the way out to the Main Menu and select:

• Manager Career
• New Manager Career
• Use Current Squads (very important!)
• Play As Real Manager
• Pep Guardiola of Manchester City
• Advance

For Quick Settings change these settings:

• Scouting to Off
• Training Plans to Always Full
• Difficulty Level to Beginner
• Financial Takeover to $1 Million Dollars (or whatever your currency is)
• Board Expectations to No Sacking

For Match settings change these settings:

• Half Length to 3 Minutes
• Difficulty Level to Beginner

For Simulation Gameplay settings you can edit the sliders in your favour if you want, but playing on Beginner Difficulty should be enough since hopefully you won't have to play a game

For Training change these settings:

• Playing Training Drills to Off
• Development Rate Seniors to Fast

Press Start to Advance after all these changes
Save your Career
Tab over to Squad and select Team Management

Make your starting eleven look like this:

• Vini Jr. / Haaland / Salah
• Bellingham
• Rodri / Rice
• Hernandez / van Dijk / Rudiger / Carvajal
• Donnarumma

Now tab over to Tactics and select Edit Tactic. Tab over to Player Roles. Select each player and change their Role as following:

• Vini Jr. to Inside Forward++
• Haaland to Poacher++ (you'll get a message after this, select Yes)
• Salah to Inside Forward++
• Bellingham to Playmaker++
• Rodri to Deep-Lying Playmaker++
• Rice to Holding++
• Hernandez to Falseback++
• van Dijk to Ball-Playing Defender++
• Rudiger to Defender++
• Carvajal to Wingback++
• Donnarumma to Goalkeeper++

Back out and SAVE when prompted. Go to the Office tab, select Calendar and advance to July 20th. Pick whatever Pre-Season Tournament you want, it doesn't matter. Now sim to the last week of August and if all things went right, the achievement should pop around the 24th or the 25th.

If it doesn't unlock for you, keep simming month by month and it should unlock at some point. If it still doesn't unlock, try actually playing a game. You can try playing the full game or just scoring a goal and simming to the end, but hopefully none of that should be necessary.

I've now done 3 games starting a XI with all ++ players. It's not popping for me, anyone else having this issue? (September 2024)

EDIT : I realized you have to go into Team Management, edit Player Roles in the tactics, and actually switch them to the ++ role. Just in case anyone gets stuck like me.
