How to unlock the From Origins to Legacy achievement in EA SPORTS FC 25 - Definitive Guide
There are many ways to go about this achievement, this is how I did it. This has a very long and tedious setup but this got me the achievement in both versions after my first season on my first try. Please let me know if you get different results.
From the Main Menu press left to highlight the Gear Icon and enter the menu.
Be sure to move #20 S. Kerr of Chelsea to your German club, she's your biggest competition in this achievement.
Return to the Main Menu:
After this play the game and score three goals as quickly as you can. It should be no issue with the difficulty and sliders in your favour. Once you have three, pause the game and select "Request a Sub".
A note on all the notifications: I ignored every single one of them. People say to make sure you clear them all out, but I found it made no difference and a lot of them glitch out anyways.
Advance to your next game and select Training. This time press the Y Button to load your previous drills and select Simulate All. This is a very important step because doing Training keeps you in as a starter, which is vital for the achievement.
Play the game, get your three goals, and sub out. That's basically it. Repeat this for the entire season, keeping in mind your can completely sim past the International Friendly games because they have zero impact towards the achievement.
When the second season starts, you'll have to keep this process up as the Ballon d'Or isn't awarded until November. When I tried simulating to November 1st, or even the last week of October, I missed the achievement in both versions so I highly recommend playing games all the way to the first week in November.
Playing all the way up to the first week of November, I got a cutscene of the awards presentation where my player won and I got the achievement right after.
From the Main Menu press left to highlight the Gear Icon and enter the menu.
- Edit Teams
- Club Transfers
- Women's Teams

Return to the Main Menu:
- Player Career
- New Player Career
- Use Current Squads (very important)
- Create New Women's Player
- Choose an avatar and advance
- For Origin Story select "Great Expectations"
- Select your loaded German club
- Advance through menus until you get to Game Settings. Put Difficulty to Beginner, UEFA Women Competitions to Off, all other settings don't matter
- Tab over to Stimulation Gameplay and adjust all the sliders in your favour while nerfing the CPU
- Advance and save your New Career
- Assign all your Skill Points, focusing on Pace, Shooting, Dribbling, and Physical first. These will raise your overall score faster than the other stats
- Assign your Playstyles. Pick whatever, it doesn't matter
- Choose your Personality boost. Pick whatever, it doesn't matter

Worked for me too, in second season.

This worked perfectly for me. I quick simmed all international friendlies. For half of the season I controlled the whole team then quick simmed after score three, then I changed up to controlling just my player and scoring three then requesting a sub. So I dont think it matters which way you do it, as long as you score three with your player.

It's always a bit hit-and-miss on Player Career, always has been so don't expect it in the first season. I got mine in November 2029 so tuck yourself in for a grind worth the 80G though!
Some tips I'd give are:
Some tips I'd give are:
- Make sure you're using an attacking player, CAM/ST, and scoring a lot of goals. You want to make sure that you are getting the golden boot in a top European league.
- You also want to make sure you are winning every trophy/competition you are in and are a stand-out player in these too by scoring goals. Winning the golden boots and all the trophies you're setting yourself up for getting it. You may have to do this for 2/3 seasons but you'll get it eventually.

Yeah it’s so hit and miss. You spend a few seasons battling Haaland and Mbappe for the award

This achievement seems random as hell, but I might have found a trick to it? Before going into Career, I edited the rosters and put every single great player on the same team as mine (FC Bayern Munich Women's) so I had less competition and I got the achievement my first season.
I had a good feeling when the shortlist for the Ballor came up and I was literally the only player named.

Even winning the golden boot, player of the season and every single cup doesn’t mean this achievement will unlock (unfortunately). The one try that worked for me was when I only won the league and anything else.

Took me 3 and a half seasons to get this achievement. You may get it sooner!!
First off start a player career with a female player.
On the Origin page choose… GREAT EXPECTATIONS
Settings on beginner, 3 mins matches, LOAN OUT MUST BE OFF!
Head over to the German league and choose Bayern Munich
Pick any of the players on the screen, names don’t matter etc make them a striker…
Once in the game it will ask you to distribute 80 skill points however you want
You then want to keep skipping until you get to the first game…
Set up a training schedule with GATE RUSH, CROSS INTO DANGER ZONE, WALL BREAKER make sure you get an A grade on these 3 training sessions…
You can save it as a Preset or hit the Y button and simulate the training for remainder of season
Into the match and control as TEAM
Make sure you player scores 3 goals and then Sim to End
Repeat this for EVERY GAME! Including international and Champions League games! Always simulate training sessions
ALWAYS UPDATE YOUR SKILL POINTS WHEN YOU EARN THEM
At the end of the season stay at Bayern Munich as there is only 21 league games and is the shortest league, you should also get player of the season award at end of every season, this is followed with a cutscene.
You should unlock the EUROPEAN GLORY achievement in 2nd season
This achievement should have the cutscene on the 1st November and have the Ballon D’or stage
If struggling I have uploaded this video from YouTube, credit goes to the creator of this video, video is not mine either…
Cheers Dryden

Unfortunately this achievement is buggy.
Did a similar method to this one for 7 seasons changing some definitions/ways of playing (for example controlling the team, only my pro, match highlights, full matches, …) every season and nothing popped.
Got it on my first try on the One a few hours ago, copied the exact method I used on it to the Series (which is the one that is giving me this massive headache) and, surprise surprise, no Ballon D’Or AGAIN. Already spent more than 25h for this one single achievement and I hate playing football games offline so you can imagine how pissed I am.
Anyway, good luck to everyone going for it.
