Start a new manager mode but choose a team in the “FL Championship” league. Once you’ve done this, go to the transfer market and search for a player in the “Barclays PL” league. Buy any Barclays player to earn this achievement.
Savenger
You can get this trophy in the Manager side of the Career mode. Start a new career and pick a team in a second tier league like the Championship. It will make this trophy easier if you pick a team from the stronger end of the league (use the star ratings to get an idea of who that is). I chose Cardiff for instance, a three and a half star team.
Make sure to have the first transfer window active at the start. Search for players listed for loan from the league above you. Keep as much of the search criteria open, as you will want to cast the widest net possible. From the results list, look for a player from the weakest team listed. My list ranged from Manchester City players at the high end to a West Brom reserve goalie at the low.
Ideally, you are looking for a player from a lower star ranked team, and someone not in the first team. Put in a request for the best fit you can find, and offer slightly more than the asking price. Since he has already been put up for loan (that is what you searched for after all), you should get the go ahead to deal with the player directly. Again, offer him slightly more than he asks for. If you go too mad on his salary or bonuses, or promise an unrealistic potential squad role, he will refuse your offers not believing that you can actually deliver on those terms. As a general rule, just improve a little on everything without overdoing it.
The trophy will pop as soon as he signs.
