How to unlock the The Ultimate Prize achievement in EA SPORTS PGA TOUR - Definitive Guide
FedEx cup is like the rest of the majors - with one ‘major’ difference. Your Fedex cup points standing must be in the top 125 to qualify, and is composed of three events at the end of the season.
Each event, a certain number of players are eliminated if they don't have enough points in the standings, so be sure to play well and drop some putts. Standings needed to qualify/advance (Fedex points standings)
Top 125 - Fedex St. Jude, opening event
Top 70 - BMW Championship
Top 30 - Tour Championship, final event
In the third FedEx event, you will start out with an advantage/disadvantage based on your fedex cup points. I started out at -9 or -10, can’t remember which as I was #1 in the fedex standings after 2/3 tournaments.
If your standing is low, you will face an uphill battle in the final event and will have to overcome a significant deficit to win.

Simply win the last event of the season to get this achievement. There is no need to play the FedEx St Jude Championship nor the BMW Championship. As long as you are ranked 1 overall after winning all the other events for achievements during the season you will qualify for the TOUR Championship and be able to compete.
This can be done on any difficulty or by only playing the 4 rounds per event as long as your golfer is good enough to win!
