How to unlock the Matchmaker achievement in EA SPORTS UFC 2 - Definitive Guide

In the main menu go to CUSTOM EVENT
You can set up an event with 4 fights and select 8 fighters. Weightclass and selected Fighters do not matter. Just play the four matches , win or lose the fights and at the end of the fourth match you get the achievement.

found a real fast way with 2 controllers. do a single leg takedown and then posture up on the opponent and then keep punching him until the ref stops the bout. Takes less than 30 seconds to win the match. Do it 3 more times and you'll get the ach.

If you don't have a second controller, simply stand in front of your opponent & let them beat you to a bloody pulp. Take a step or two towards/away from them from time to time, as I've found they strike more frequently when you are active. Each fight will take from 1 to 3 minutes, depending on what they specialize in. (Grappling, takedowns, et cetera)

Happy Hunting.

Do you have to do more than 4 matches? I tried it with 4 matches and knocked out the opponent and still no achievement? All were 3 rounds and I played instead of watching CPU vs CPU.

I can confirm that this achievement will unlock without playing a fight and just having 4 CPU v CPU of 3 round fights. Took about 20 minutes because two matches went all three rounds, the other two ended in KOs.

Just want to add that you can use the same line up for each match (I assume even the same player x 8 times). Also you don't need to play any of the matches, I had CPU vs CPU while I was doing something else..

Just check that you have 3 round/matches (some default as championship matches), skip transitions, and use accelerated time!

From the main menu select Custom Events then Create Event. The next menu is the settings for your custom event so set the difficulty to Beginner, the fights to 4 and leave the rest as it is. The next menu is where you select the fighters so pick ones you are comfortable controlling as this will speed up the process then proceed to play through the 4 fights. Once you have completed all the fights, the event will be complete and your trophy will unlock.

We create our own event - set 5 matches - play them (most likely, it’s better to win them) - get a trophy

As I understand it, it’s not worth replaying, because I lost 1 battle, and I restarted it, and the trophy didn’t drop
