How to unlock the On the Rise achievement in EA SPORTS UFC 2 - Definitive Guide

At the start of your career you've got to fight in the Ultimate Fighter competition. There are four fights to win before starting your career in the UFC. You can lose a match and simply retry. After you win the final the achievement will unlock.
Very simple just do NOT press continue after you lose a match or you will not be able to win the competition , just retry.

i played the game beat the thign and the dam thing didnt pop for me at all

Didn't even know what this trophy was till I've looked now I went through all those fights and it didn't unlock for me either will have to try in a new career when the first is over

I've experienced a lot of buggy achievements in this game. This one popped right after the last Ultimate Fighter fight. Other achievements , like the 30 fights in a career , unlocking all your boosts in training and some others didn't pop the first time. I really do not know where this problem comes from or how to get the achievements to unlock but all I can say is try again. Doing the exact same thing multiple times is what worked for me unfortunately. Sorry that I cannot help you further. You obviously met the requirements for the achievement to unlock.

Story related, can't be missed.

You will start career mode by entering the Ultimate Fighter. You must win each fight in the Ultimate Fighter to progress to the next fight so if you lose, then you will restart the last fight.
