How to unlock the Throw It On The Ground achievement in EA SPORTS UFC 2 - Definitive Guide

UPDATE: I have confirmed this working with a second controller. All you have to is is slam your opponent ( I used a hip toss with Bruce Lee) and then knock them out with ground in pound without changing positions. I have a video which can probably explain it better, but the main point is the slam doesn't actually have to KO them.
ORIGINAL: I'm not sure if the game glitched or not, but I used a hip toss (which would count as a slam), and then followed up with ground and pound for the knockout. Not sure if this was a glitch, so if someone can confirm if using a slam then ground and pound after for a knockout works that would be helpful.

I used Chris Weidman (middleweight) and a second controller. Get into a clinch, move to double underhooks, hit left trigger and up on the right stick. Once you've slammed him, hold LB and ground and pound him. Achievement Unlocked!!

Ground and pounding after using Ronda Rousey's Judo counter works as well, with a second controller.

This is easiest achieved using 2 controllers in "Fight Now" mode (if you haven't got one then set the difficulty to Beginner when creating the fight) again use your 2 created fighters. When the match starts land a few punches to get the other fighters head into the red state then move close to your opponent then press the towards them, to get them in a clinch. Push the right or left until you get into back mount. Hold and and push the in the direction for the high suplex. The impact of the suplex should knock him out and unlock the trophy. See the following video:

Alternative Method : Another method is to take down your opponent with a double leg high takedown and combined with . Once they are down you should use a continued barrage of normal strikes to finish your opponent, This still counts and will pop the trophy. See the following video, credit to oswald41:

We take Ronda Rousey and Holly Holm (if there are two gamepads), beat Ronda's face until it's red, take Ronda into a clinch and throw her through the hip, as soon as Ronda is on the floor - we hit her with a few punches in the face to knock her out - the trophy is yours. Or you can choose a heavy weight and simply perform a powerful slam on the opponent when he is in a pre-knockout state (a slam is a powerful throw to the opponent on the tatami)

We go into Fight now mode. We take a heavyweight - Alistair Overeem.
We go into a clinch (left stick + right stick) with the opponent.
Next we do over under. Then we press , do a Hip Toss (throw the opponent)
And we finish it off with our hands.
Here is a video using Bruce Lee as an example https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NACZ_Eg6ur0
