How to unlock the Knockout of the Night achievement in EA SPORTS UFC - Definitive Guide

Not 100% sure how it works but this is how I unlocked it.
On career mode I managed to knock 3 opponents out within the first minute of the 1st round.
First KO was 0.59 and I didn't unlock it. Second KO was 0.37 and it unlocked. I managed to get a second Performance of the Night by KO for 0.15. However, towards the end of my career I got another Performance of the Night by KO for being the only KO of the Night.
My feeling is it is somewhat luck based depending on the performance and outcome of other matches. I think if you are the quickest KO of the night you will get it and also if you happen to be the only KO of the night. My advice is just go straight for the knockout as quickly as possible. I used the
and 
combo from the off.

To earn this trophy you must win a fight by Knockout and it must be the best knockout on the fight card. To improve your chances of earning this you should knock out your opponent as soon as possible. If you win by TKO, you aren't likely to get this award, KOs have a much better chance of winning it. Head kicks are a good way to knock out your opponent and it will look impressive, that’s exactly what the aim is, so my advice is to use head kicks on your opponent and land counter strikes in order to knock them out.

The knockout of the night award is the easiest bonus to pick up and you should have no problem getting this once you start regularly fighting on the main card. If you have managed to pick up the KotN bonus the achievement will unlock at the event results screen post fight.
