How to unlock the There Is No "Try" achievement in EA SPORTS UFC - Definitive Guide
This achievement is straight forward. I can CONFIRM that you DO NOT have to get a black belt on all the challenge to complete this. As long as you go through the motion it doesnt matter what belt you get(even white) it will count as being completed. NOTE: You have to get better than a white belt on the 10th challenge of each challenge type for it to count as completed challenge.
The hardest challenge that involves a lot of luck is the advanced stand-ups 10th challenge. Other than that this achievement is pretty simple

I've got a tip for the Level 10 Stand-up sparring: Use your kicks! Hold LT and LB to do strong body damage, and he'll curl over for the black belt.

You'll find the Challenges in the menu screen. There's 90 challenges all up and they're very straight forward. It took me over an hour to do them all.
The only semi-difficult challenges are the submission ones, which take a few goes and the last of the Advanced Stand Up Challenge which it tells you to spar with a live partner. To pass that challenge just try and knock the guy out as quick as you can :)

The challenges will teach you how to play the game properly. There are a total of 90 challenges that need to be completed, luckily they do not have to be completed to Black belt level as long as it say you completed the challenge you are good to move on to the next one. Complete all 90 challenges to unlock the trophy. I have listed all of the sections for the challenges and broken down each section
Stand Up - 50

- Advanced Stand Up - 10
- Heavy Bag - 10
- Thai Pads - 10
- Blocking - 10
Clinch - 20
- Clinch Striking - 10
- Clinch Control - 10
Ground - 20
- Wrestling - 10
- Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu - 10
As long as you each a score of 200, to advance past the white belt and onto the next challenge, that is enough to count that challenge complete towards the trophy.
There are a total of 90 training challenges split across three areas.
- Stand Up: 50 challenges
- Ground: 20 challenges
- Clinch: 20 challenges
They are all fairly simple and just task you with completing various tasks within a time limit. You don’t have to achieve the maximum rank to complete the challenges. The achievement will unlock after completing the final challenge.
