How to unlock the Top of the Mountain achievement in EA SPORTS UFC - Definitive Guide

As you progress in your career you will eventually fight for the title, assuming you are performing well enough. This will be a tough fight and at times quite unfair, especially on Pro. By this point in your career you should have been able to build up all aspects of your fighter’s game, the easiest way to win this fight is to go after your opponent’s weakness. My title fight was against Shogun Rua, he is a well rounded fighter and would be a match for me in most areas. The weakest part of his game was his ground work, so I had to take him down and get into full mount and ground and pound him. It may take you a few tries because the CPU can get some rather cheap wins. If you do lose you can pause, quit out to the gym and retry.

When you are in the UFC, you must continuously win fights to move up the rankings to get closer to the title which is your goal. With each fight you win, you will face a tougher opponent and will move up the rankings. Once you win enough fights on the undercard you will be promoted to the main card and will earn the trophy 'The Big Time'. Once you are on the main card you will start to get fights against the real UFC roster opponents and after progressing up the rankings to a top 5 spot you could get offered a #1 Contender fight. Winning this will earn you a title shot at the champion and also the '#1 Contender' trophy. Your next fight will be against the champion, if you beat them, you will earn this trophy.

By this point in your career you should have been able to build up all aspects of your fighter’s game, the easiest way to win this fight is to go after your opponent’s weakness. My title fight was against Carlos Condit, he has KO kick power and could fully damage any part of my body with a single kick, he could also stagger me in two shots. The weakest part of his game was his submissions, so I had to take him down and submit him. It may take you a few tries because the CPU can get some rather cheap wins. If you do lose you can pause, quit out to the gym and retry.
